use old school mama lemon does remove sticky lump grease. somemore make your bike smell nice.

i seriously wonder how much time it took to clean that bike. For the most of us HDB dwellers, no space to do all these!

I stay in HDB too. Its not difficult. Just find a washing bay and a car jack n it can be done easily. for more tips, if u need, u can pm me. i always wash my own bike.

hey guys.... my white rims get dirty with grease. not matter how i clean the sprocket chain... the grease still sticks after riding my bike... any advice on how to prevent/ decrease that? thanks...

Heard that household detergents can increase chance of rust on metal parts. I don't care to try. . . could be an urban myth though. Better to use automotive types instead.

Can try not to over lub the chain, wipe off excess lub and best to let it sit overnite before riding. An easy way to clean rims is to use WD40 on rag and wipe rims, just remember not to get any of the slippery stuff on the tyres.

WD40 if use over long term might harm ur paint work. If u have some cash to spare can try Sonax products for rims which is used on Formula 1 racing vehicles.

i recommend Armourall degreaser for cleaning rims and all road grims on bike.

Available in all Esso Mobil petrol station.

looking at him clean his bike.. Make me feel like also cleaning my bike out. But I do wonder how long he took to clean his bike coz in all the clips.. the sun still look as though it is shining!

use chain wax. 0 flings if u leave it to dry overnight.

Additional info, no need to buy "fancy" oil-based and water-based degreasers. Just use kerosene and keep it away from your tank and fairings. This recommendation was picked off from a Suzuki factory manual.

 

Nontheless, I use Autoglym products myself and it'd the best. Just need to polish the bike once a month and wash with soap and water every week and the bike is still very shiny.
