Mushi Mushi fellow Revo-ers!

 

im so so so excited for my new upcoming ride, REVO! coming out on 16122009... have been waiting for so long ever since i got my 2A on 20102009.. haha!

 

anyway, i know somewhere in this thread, u guys have been talking abt running in, wat to do, wat not to do, the coolant, EO and many many more!

 

however, the 85 pages is way damn long for me cause i sometimes not enough time to surf all the pages.. so some stuffs i miss out la.. and i know u fellow Revo-ers are helpful and informative.. therefore im asking for a real BIG favour :)

 

can u guys enlighten me on the procedures of running in, wat to look out 1st when i take out my bike (like how to ride, speed, rpm level and so forth..), how long must i run in.. wat kind of style must i ride in..

 

i really, like many others, would wanna keep this love for a long time to come, therefore i really wanna care for it *wah sound like some wife* haha!

 

then also like during the running in period, wat to do, whether need to change this and that.. wat things can i expect to come eg. FC.. if anyone could be specific at which milage to do wat thing, would be of much help.

 

then AFTER the running in period, which is after which milage, wat need to do... the necessary after run in procedures or watsoever...

 

im sorry ppl to trouble u all, but i really noob in this running in thing cause my previous ride was a 2nd hand so didn have to run in at all.. I appreciate the guidance and tips of u ppl here

Anyway, is Revo seat key lock or screw tighten?

 

Thinking of putting rain coat inside the seat, do-able? :)

i know racewerks offer hard break in.

 

super4 seat is key lock.. can put raincoat inside..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

u wan hard break in or normal running in?

if hard break in, go to racewerks, they will guide u along, and its alot easier doing hard break in than normal run in

HKL also got, but i prefer racewerks

i know racewerks offer hard break in...

Wow. First time heard of hard break in service by shop. Btw, how long does it take for the shop to do hard break in? Any idea about the cost? Any idea where can get the address for racewerk and HKL? Sorry for so many noob questions, currently in the process of getting class 2A. Once passed i will most probably get S4 Revo. =)

hard break in around 1-2hrs waiting time.

guys.. is there any way to make your revo smoother..i know revo quite smooth le..but after i change my pipe..my pick up SUX!!!!!only after 90 the power come..

what pipe u use? got change any more stuff? i use gpr endcan plus pa auto n bmc airfilter my bike feel smoother and the fuel consumption better now standard at 300 every tank event though ard 20% of the time i open vtec
