Comes in ABS or non-ABS models, ABS models is slightly more expensive.

oh, meaning if wanted a ABS system then you have to place order from bike shop and awaits shipment? am currently searching around shops for revo with ABS while awaiting TP. HLC quote me $25,000 OTR, BP quote $21,000, and HME quoted $22,000

anyone can highlight to me why there is a differences in the valves?

none of those shops mention above have ready ABS machine. how expensive does it cost? i thought ABS and non-ABS are of $1,000 different?

i mean why all the three shops quote different valves, and it quite a different between each other.

Nice. That's the 10ml version. 25ml version cost SGD $32, if you shipped it in together with other items, it makes really good sense to buy it overseas.

Agree. If any bros here is keen to do a mass order from overseas, I may buy 2 x 25ml version for myself. Do PM me. Thanks.

u mean VALUES instead of VALVES right??? These two words have different meaning. Different price range is due to T&C, pricing, COE capped price, insurance cost, additional cost etc.

A colleague of mine now who was from LTA said its only $500. After a successful appeal it will be $200. He wonders why so many ppl say its $700. :)

I second that, cuz I was caught before on my previous bike shadow 400 with Harley exhaust. fine $500, but after appeal, $200.

Just to share, please be gentle with revo's exhaust header screw because I just broke one today. The OEM screw is not very strong, hence try not to over tightened it. I used to tighten my ex-ride Shadow 400 exhaust but never break the screw before, so please take note when you going to change header moving forward.

If only 1 side spoil, then just change 1 side will do. :)

Provided u can buy just one rear shock cos usually sold in a pair.

Even u managed to buy one only, once fixed, both shocks might not feel the same as before as the damping feel is different.

One solution to this is to send both shocks to servicing to make the damping balanced.

ramsnake, do you know where can we buy this?

You can get it in Singapore at http://shop.singahobby.com/?q=node/26896

However, do note that theirs is a smaller bottle version. Also, I've tried before and it is not suitable for flexible (eg: hose) and porous materials. This is also stated in their instructions on the bottles.

@byon Sorry I missed your post. Haven't been checking in for a while... :)

Anyway, in case anyone else is looking for this, I bought mine fro Singa Hobby. Paid about $69 for the larger pack. With hind sight, I should have bought the small bottle as I don't foresee using the adhesives that often.

I've used the adhesive (without welding powder) to repair my helmet as a plastic part has decided to come off after 2 years of use. Before using Rapid Fix, I tried to use other adhesives but the part keeps coming off as I need to apply pressure to the part when opening my flip-up helmet. Then I remembered seeing the Rapid Fix vid before and decided to give it a try. It's almost 2 months now and true to the manufacturer's claims, Rapid Fix fixed my helmet. The plastic part is firmly in place even with pressure applied on a daily basis.

@Winners - You tried using the Rapid Fix on hoses and it didn't hold? This is interesting because the video shows them repairing a coolant hose with the glue. Can you share more info on this please?

Most shops represent a few insurers. Ask them which insurer's premium they are quoting you and ask them to check the premium from another insurer. Don't be penny wise pound foolish when choosing insurer.

E.g. For 3rd party + Fire and Theft

Insurer A - $500

Insurer B - $420

Although B seems to be cheaper in terms of annual premium, it may in fact be "more expensive" because B has an Excess Clause sum of $1,000 whereas A's Excess is only $200. "Excess Clause" is a clause in the insurance policy that states that the insurer will pay for amounts in excess of the amount stated in the event of any claims for repairs required. You the insured is responsible to pay for the amount stated.

So, say you hit a Mercedes from behind and it costs $2,500 to replace his bumper. You will have to pay $200 if you chose Insurer A. If you chose insurer B, you are liable for the first $1,000.

Edit: There is no Excess Clause for TPFT policies. Excess Clause applies only to comprehensive policies which covers repairs to own vehicle. So, in event of an accident, the insurer will pay for the cost of repair to your own bike. Amount to be paid is amount above excess clause sum.

Other than machine price, insurance premium and excess clause, agreement fees and certificate of entitlement, do ask them their interest rate. Also check if the shop has any ERP clause (Early Repayment Penalty).
