Hi All.. Some personal feedback for the bike.

Fully run in my bike.

1)Tried the max speed. 120km/h.

2) Fuel compsumption -1litre about 35km/h. Mostly highway riding, 90-110km/h.

3) Pick up is ok from stationary to 60km/h , after tat it climbs slowly.

4) Engine is makes a clattering sound when stressed.

I think there is speed limiter on our stock CDI. Throttle is about 4/5 when hit 120km/h.

Check out with wing yap, AMK branch for the rollers, after market CDI and other performance upgrades. They reply sayin stock will arrive in Mar 09.

Any comments are welcomed.

Any bros out there any place carries after market performace parts for the bike?

Great work on the feedback! Thanks bro...

Anyone can tell me the Tank size? How many litres?

Posted

hi all, my bike still only less than 700km and monitoring consumption i've been getting km/l in the 40s. note that bike has already gone 90km/h in spurts and mostly expressway riding. I'll be happy if it maintains this way... was kinda worried about the consumption before this.

wow, performance parts coming on march, think muz check it out at wy soon..

Tank size is 4.8 litre. good for 150-180km of riding.

that's 1l-37.5km

Thanks for sharing, I have gone for a Sparks instead.... for fear of resale value as I will not hold the bike for long...

Hi bros,

Any recommendations for good wet weather tyres for Nouvo Elegance? Have started to ride in Dec 08 and so far pleased with this simple bike (except for the brakes and tyres). Had replaced the front disc with a bigger one. However, the recent wet weather caused some jitters as skidded slightly on 3 occasions.

Done at wym AMK. I think about $140. All else (hose, caliper, lever, brake shoe, etc) used back original as I wanted to know the effect of just changing the disc.

imo, braking improves a little and probably saved me from 2 near misses.
