Organiser says bring spare belt and plug. Can we count on you for that?

 

lai lo... i got an extra nuovo belt. got it cheap. original Yamaha. plugs i got many. if only u come.

dun worry abt the beltings. i always whack my nouvo. opening the transmission every 2000km to check and mod. current belt mileage now is 10 000km. belt still running strong, min can go another 5000km.

Just curious, have any bro broken the belts while riding? I was told its not easy to break and the belt will give much indication before breaking e.g. sound and vibration.

Since this is my first time riding an auto bike, is it normal that you feel that the belt vibrates at reaching 80km/h. Mind me, is it normal for running in?

how many km do u want to run in? the durian trip is next Sunday.i believe by then u have clock more than 1000km. and btw, this is a scooter. dun have a gear box to run in. thus running in as long as hit more than 800km can le.

Thanks bro for your word of encouragement. Sincerely i hope to clock 1000km soon for my first servicing at Hong Leong. Therefore i could join you for the trip. My type of travel is from work (Macpherson) to home (Sembawang) weekdays.

The lady at HL ever mention to me that the servicing took about 1hr plus. I think you should book with them soon cos my mileage is also at 700km+.

i got put some pics of it on previous pages, but that one only front led above the front wheels and polelights only.. now i added another pair under the pillion seat.. plus got stop-light led on my rear number plate..

Looks like nobody has broken it before..

nuovo's kinda new.. doubt that anyone has hit 15000km or more for the belt to break off.. dunno abt the nuovo 115 riders though..
