dunno leh,perhaps Bcoz i juz changed brake pad, but still got sound and it feels funny,the braking like biting metal..

brake disc should be racing boy, the brake pad i juz changed is yamaha brand one,also dunno good anot, shop ask me change to genuine yamaha one.. but actually i prefer other brands..

Check with Hong Leong Yamaha first for machine price. There's alot of bike shop carrying this bike. The machine price i got was around $3.3K, exclusive of insurance etc. Bro, go for Elegance.

original pads are good. but ex. but i got them from thailand when i tour there. a lot cheaper there. how much u bought your yamaha original pads for? from which shop?

for all bikes and cars, all new pads are to be 'bed' in. to suit the disc for optimum braking power & for the pads and disc to last longer.

i got mine for $35 at wing yap,and the bad thing is, the sound is back again,will even cause serious vibration when i do hard braking.. omg.. think i gonna go to shop very soon..

Probably, the caliper need to be service. It's mainly due to that the brake pads dust settling around the calipers.

no way. your bike is less than 1 year old...... unless u never bed in your pads properly, thus causing a lot of brake dust. just simple cleaning of the caliper will do. but your after market disc seems like got problem sia....... maybe you'll like my mech to do a check for u.
