I have problem starting my bike in the morning. I'm quite aware that the problem might be a weak battery. But since Wave also can kickstart, should i change the batt then?

 

everytime i cannot start in the morning, i simply kick start and the engine would start immediately. Just trying to save cost here.

i'm not so sure bout dis.. but let me clear on a few tings.. u cant start on electric start but can kick start? right?

 

it could probably be ur spark plug.. cause if both cannot start, den probably can use choke bah.. batt-wise muz ask d expert liaoz.. i only noe in riding d bike..

How old is your bike? when you press the electric starter button what happen? if there is a click sound but cant start then most probably is battery weak.. if you dont wish to change it, its ok, jus use kickstarter. use a volt meter to check the voltage before you start the bike and after you kick start it. Rev it up and check if the voltage goes up to ard 14V. if it doesnt goes up then you have a big problem. hope it helps. the cheapest battery i think will cost you ard $10 from LAB..

My bike is about 4yrs old...when i press the start button, there is a click alright but the bike just cannot start. i guess ill stick to kickstarting la time being...when need to do full servicing, would consider changing the batt...\m/

By the looks of it, most probably is battery weak liao. best is you check it yourself 1st unless you know your mechanic very well. just in case you become 'carrot of the day'

I just had a accident with my Phathom on the eve of CNY and Changed to Wave-S 125. I had some query to ask..

 

1.What is the Tire Pressure to Pump Both my tires are dunlop tt900

 

2. What is the tension for the chain

 

3. Can i remove the whole metal chain cover

 

4. The extra piece of metal plate which is secured above of the exhaust., How much does it cost.

 

5. what is the normal thing to do for servcing of bike.. Like must change any extra thingy

 

 

Srry if i sound very Newbie. Just wld like to list the help of you all pros to give me some tips and advice thanks.

i have the same problem with u too.. its the batt that is weak. dun worry.

till now i also haven change e batt.. haha..

Yo there...I experienced it before too..especially when moving off on a slope..but that was very rare for me...But also interested to know why so

if yours is wave r model no problem but if s model better becareful your whole meter is digital and will blackout/ not working

Hi, I recently had change my EO and did found out that when I drained my old EO, it was just abt 100-150ml. Is it normal for this oil loss and what is the complications? I change my EO after 2500km using castrol semi-syn oil. Thanks for the advice
