license: Feb passed

 

Insurance have to pay: NTUC = 3.3k (according to last yr july)

 

**maybe this year will be increase to more.

 

wow ur insruance seem abit crazy or maybe due to litre bike.. mine 600cc as of last dec age 22.5 for r6 is 1.5k only for ntuc tpft.

What I paid for the "cheapest" TPFT insurance now, was equal to 2 years of insurance premiums when i first got my bike. Ridiculous I think sooner or later bike insurance would cost more then car insurance, on top of that you could only add 1 sub rider, while the drivers could let anyone else drive legally.

Hey guys I gota a question, is it possible to get my dad (who is still riding) to get the insurance for me for the SP, of course with my very own dollar bills. Cause his insurance is about only $100~$200 a year whereas mine would gona cost about $600 !

insurance is weird! Relating to 3rd party insurance, They charge a higher premium for newer motorbikes. So they are actively implying that if you are riding a newer motorbike. you are more likely to get into an accident! shouldn't it be the other way round as a newer bike would have better working brakes, suspension etc that would help reduce the chances of an accident by a small percentage?

FW(2003) plate they quote $600

make sure the insurance agent key in the correct information for you.. eg age, riding experience, NCD.. all these small small things can minus alot off your insurance premium..

 

i jus called NTUC with all info, and my insurance about less 330 to 380 for 2A bike, yet Allienz agent quoted me 1.2k without asking much information.. (anyhow quote)

For my case, it's best is to inquiry with several insurance companies to get the lowest quotes.

My Fz1 08, Anda quoted me 1.25k(With GST) for TPFT whereas NTUC quoted me 1.8k(Excludign GST) for TPFT

All quotes with 20% NCD, 25 yrs with 5 yrs riding exp.

Still feel Anda(AIG) offers a lower premium thou.

Guess what? my current insurance agent (which i used for 2 yrs) quote me $703 for TP insurance. While ntuc quote me for the same policy for $315. The insurance system are nuts.

Honda Phantom TA 200 FV plate.

 

NTUC and AXA quote me around $580. NTUC is $587 while AXA is $578. For NTUC the lady required the whole vehicle plate number while AXA just ask how old is the bike.

 

Mitsui is the weird one. They only ask about P plate and age and whether accident before, and the cc of the bike. Then straight away quote $979. I ask the person why so different from NTUC, he say is like that one. Don't care about the age or the make of the bike.

 

Definitely going for NTUC or AXA.
