Hi 2_wheeler,

Need some advise from you pertaining to an insurance claim. Currently, I still have an outstanding claim (3rd party claim against the other rider). Will I be able to sell off my existing bike?

I understand from some friends that both are independant issues, but just like to check with you for peace of mind.

Thank you and regards.

hi 2_wheeler,

Another thing, if I am getting a new bike and the new insurance is to be processed by the bikeshop and I understand they are not taking NTUC as I am buying a S4, how will I be able to refund my existing policy with NTUC?

Kindly enlighten on the procedure to do it as well as what documents to bring for the cancellation.

Thank you and regards.

bring along your insurance cert. to any of our branches and get the refund of the unused period on the spot (only if you are the owner).

BTW, I can help you get the insurance from NTUC Income.

thank you so much for the reply.

sorry to inform that the motorshop is settling all the issues (registration and insurance etc) for me. will let you know when I am going to renew the insurance next year.

anyway, I am getting a new S4, I heard NTUC no longer take new S4 policies... Maybe we can discuss in PM if it is not convenience to post sensitive matters publicly.

regards.

No. to renew road tax, the owner of the bike MUST have insurance under his/her name. a subrider is just an authorised rider given by the owner. the owner can authorise anybody to rider his/her anytime but, only one is allowed at a time.

given your uncle the insurance 1st. is assuming that he is doing the transfer of ownership.....a vaild insurance is needed during the transfer.

go to motordiam and ask them for a quote

when i wanted to get a bike the auntie in the shop show me a table of some sort which they use to estimate insurance premium prices

i kind of had the impression that it would cost ard $300++ for 19yr old to get a 3yr old bike

both NTUC and Mitsui offer that range of price...but Mitsui cost slightly lesser :goodluck:
