Hello everyone i need some help on my bike, I am looking for the biggest rim and tires that i can fit on my spark. I am not into speed just want to have alot of grip and contact surface. It will affect my Fuel comsumption but that is ok. And witout going to JB where can i get them locally as in the rims. 2.5' rims and big fat tires is what i am looking for. I had enough of flat tires in the past 6months, twice in front and once on the rear. lucky thing is that i am a relax rider so when they blew out i could react in time. The last time i had a flat was 11years ago on my YAM XT225 so This bike gives me 3 flats in 6 months is really bizzare :giddy: Please help me by intro any shop that i can go to. Thank you.

i believe currently in the market the widest is 2.15, 2.5 cant go anywhere beyond dat...

btw u are looking for sports or spoke rims?

sports rims will have some difficulty spoke rims will b easier for a wide rims

but once again spokes is abit more troublesome when flat... due to tube

just release clutch on gear 2.. let the bike die...

then clutch in kick start a few times(though our bike must be started in neutral)...

then attempt the push away thingy... haha

Any suggestion as where to change my wheels to sport rims?? And what is the recommendation for tyres?? Price?

i'll answer the part on what tyres to fix... next time do a search before you post...

reccomended size.

FRONT: 80/90

BACK: 90/80.

Brands:

Bridgestone Battlax BT 39F SS

Cost: SGD$150-SGD$170

(Battlax tyre smallest size is 80/90)

Dunlop TT900 Thai Made.

(THAI)Cost: SGD$80-SGD$120 (not so sure about the lower end price...)

(JAP) Cost: Same as battlax...

(dunlop has 80/80... good for front.)

Michelin something

Cost: same as battlax...

after you're done absorbing the above.. please read the link below for more doubts answered...

some add on to wat bro refugees have typed

michelin sporty

grips on only dry weather, wet weather not recommended so i would say not a wise choice...

for jap tyres there is only a couple of combination

80/90(F) 90/80®, 90/80(F) 90/80®

for thai tyres more to play

60/90, 70/80, 80/80, 80/90 (F)

70/80, 80/80, 80/90, 90/80 ®

hope wat i gave is correct...
