Hi all,

 

i am riding a spark135 and recently i sense that the sound of my engine is getting louder when i am travelling at 90-100 km per hr. The sound is more like dragging of the gears. My mileage is hitting 16000 soon. So anyone would care to share what the problem could be.

Huh really ah ?

 

Do u all spark rider have the same problem.I hear from ppl that need to go for valve clearance. Do u all think it is advisible and how much will it cost to get it done. Will changing EO and oil filters be useful in reducing the noise.

Basically, its only silent at certain period and certain speed.

 

Like when u first buy the spark, its so silent.

 

After its season, sound comes in due to wear and tear lor.

Serious ah bro,

 

But, the sound is like very irritating and when i am going at higher speed, it tends to get louder. Is there any way to eliminate the sound

haha can eliminate! wear ear plug or change new bike...

How to minimize the sound. Do u guys also experience the same thing as time goes by. I heard one of my frens say must go for value clearance. Is that true.

Anyone got any inputs.

Maybe u try valve clearance first lor. At stroker's shop. PM stroker for advise.Mine also started to get slightly louder than usual few weeks back.Did valve clearance liao b4 that.Guess like wat yos said due to wear and tear.

Bro, dont mind i ask u a few more questions

 

a) How much will it cost to get the valve clearance done?

b) How long will the whole process take?

c) U mean u did valve clearance b4 ur bike started to sound louder than normal.

d) And, where is stroker's shop located?

like have to kick a few times then can start .... and my bike like getting

 

slower is there any thing to look out for..... wat iz due to

 

1 engine oil

2 carb

3 valve

4...

5....

unable to start has alot of causes:

 

- engine is cold, needs to pull choke?

- spark plug due for change

- spark plug is too wet to start a ignition

- carb is flood

- no idea le..

 

 

dun flame me.. i might be wrong..

bro correct me if im wrong, our big bikes class 2 valve clearance and clean injector only need to b done bout 3 yrs... some advice from shop not my personal view.. i dun believe u need to do this valve clearance so early... as i always check my spark plugs and see my setting is it rich or lean, carb washing oso no need to do so early as long ur airbox is intact as i wash my carb at 12K and its sparkling clean not even abit dirty...

if its morning start i tin u need to go for servicing liaoz... same goes to me 2weeks back after i exchange bike wif my fren... so i go for e.o change, oil filter, spark plug and some tuning... den now everything back to normal.. morning 1 kick sure start...

 

anyway spark got valve ar?? wads valve? nv service b4...
