Mod from diff ver s4 to Spec 3 tail

can anyone gif a breakdown of the prices of the mod to spec 3 tail?>?

 

1 - spec 3 tailboard (left and right)

2 - spec 3 tail light assembly

3 - undertray for spec 3 tail board (i think theres 2 parts right?)

 

is this all?

 

if mod to this spec 3 tail then can use box or not? or need to change to spec 3 rack etc?

 

i went to ask first motor last week.. the malay guy name mohammad..

 

1: $280 (moulded one not original spec3 tailboard)

2: $100+ not too sure. he says can get ur own light or they customise for u, if they customise it will look exactly like spec3 lights.

3: $150 he says this is a must if not below would look ugly.. to cover the side frame or something..

 

So total i guess should be ard $500+ any bro went to ask again pls do update.. many thanks..

this one im talking about is if u want to do at First Motor.. first motor do moulding... if u have ur own spec3 tail then i dunno the price.. i also want to know ... if anybody have info pls do post.thanks.

I did mine at motorworld..total $450..$150 for the specIII taillight..$60 for the back back part of the undertray..if change whole thing better..dunnoe how much..the rest of the $$ goes to the moulding of the tailboard & labour..

 

Think the reason y they use the moulded tailboard is bcoz the original specIII got some bracket which the rest of the s4 dun haf & haf..

i wonder will the bracket for the box be obstructing the changing of tail light.. by the way,i realised spec3 signal light is different from the older versions of s4,and we can't juz plug and play,think need to do a bracket to hold the spec 3 signal light..

motoworld updated price is 450 or 400, two diff price.... depend which u prefer, diff to tell wat the differences..... i sent my s4 non vtec to respray plus moduled spec 3 tail, need to wait ard two week times. Understand from bro "hellsfury" if moduled spec 3 tail only half to one day will do.... :cheeky:

sure still can used back your box, dun worry, they will solve for you. If your can fix in spec 3 blanket which is from top not below as per current shld be more nicer.... but too bad, they told me mine have to go from below coz my tail bone there is shorter than original spec 3... :cry:

wun de lah... u pillion ppl is depend on the tail bone to support... not the tail light lah...
