how"s the STR feels like?

1) mileage full tank?

2) maintenance wise?

I used to have Hepco Becker Top Box installed on my Street. You can get my rack and purchase the box and base plate separately. Fits nicely on your ride.

hi triple owners,

 

i'm about to purchase a used speed triple. problem is it comes with a full system arrow "lowboy" which is a little too loud for my liking and could be eye-candy to LTA officers. the owner said that he purchased an original exhaust and it is being shipped to SG.

 

if i really do buy the bike, do you think i can ride home from sin ming drive without attracting attention from the "white ants"? the arrow lowboy is obnoxiously loud when i heard it in an enclosed sheltered carpark.

Does the owner stay in Sin Ming drive that you have to collect it from there? You can probably try arranging alternative pick-up location if you're uncomfortable and see if he's ok with it...or even have him ride to your place and you can send him back by car/cab

I second that. Have him ride to your place and go LTA anywhere else after, together... with a car or another bike, if available.

 

Just wondering... how ya gonna ride your speedy out for change of exhaust after that?

Any one here has any issue with the heat from under the seat when riding or stopping at red light?

 

I heard you can buy titanium wrap to reduce the heat. It became almost unbearable sometimes.

 

Mine is a Street Triple R 2009.
