Yup there is sliders for GSR600.. PM me if interested

Motrax33

If it's commonly found, then it's quite a relief for me cos I'm doing some budget calculations to book that bike due to my low pay.

Hi all,

Let's begin discussin the Suzuki B-King.

Reports say they will begin production and will reach delarships in end 2007, appearing as an early 2008 model. They were referring to USA and UK dealerships.

Does anyone have any idea if there's a possibility of them being in SG?

The bike primarily has a Hayabusa engine, with the tech add ons similar to the GSR600, another close cousin. Originally designed to include turbo to boost its power range, the final design had the turbo option ommitted, pretty clever considering if they didn't want to eclipse the Suzuki Racing bike models.

All in all, its a mean bike.. read abt it...

Check with Looi's.

Very HIGH chance they are bringing it in.

But most prolly as PI.

I'd love to get my hands on this baby.

But too bad they decided to remove the mini-supercharger (not turbo) in the production model.

My other concern would be tyre-size. Heard rumours it might be a non-standard size (210 or 220 for the rear). Would be an issue when comes to a tyre change as might end up having to wait weeks for a pair of tyres to be specially shipped in.

whatever it is, it's definitely gonna be a monster.. :thumb:

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

Yeah, the uk site has a some info in it as well, great link.

Which comes to the other question? is that an authorised dealer for suzuki motorcycles?

is it very much a parallel import process for most of the bikes in sg? ie, Mah, looi, etc.

The B-king's really sweet, bet the price's really sweet too..

Guan Hoe is the agent for Suzuki motorcycles here but really, I would say Hong Leong and Boon Siew is much better. Guan Hoe dun even have a website and their workshop closes exactly at 5pm. :help:

I hope the riding the Bking is smooth, cornering and all that, I dont expect racing bike dynamics, but I wont be happy with sluggish responses and heavy turns.

Hopefully its priced like under 30k, going by the hayabusa market range right now.

I dont think will below 30K. I think the price is more than a Hayabusa. Even the machine is cheap but i believe the maintenance also wouldn't be cheap lor.

It's gonna be a pig to manhandle. A drag bike more likely.

This clip seems to say otherwise:

I am still concerned about its dry weight.

But I guess all feels featherweight at speed.

I'm basing the assumption on the experience my friend had on his Busa up Genting with 2 tired old 600cc bikes with pillions on board. The Busa was one up. Both 600s went up with relative ease. The Busa rider was tired out of his wits reaching upon reaching the top in last place. And he's a pretty damned good rider to boot too.

Can't argue with physics. A heavy bike with a long wheelbase will always be a b1tch to throw around.

http://www.suzuki-gb.co.uk/bikes/detail.php?ref=bking&y=k7

Its priced as GBP 9000 with taxes.

Tats about SGD 27000 before COE & insurance.

Think it may hit the SGD 30000 mark liao.

Think better to wait a while first for those getting this bike. Early next year might be the best time.

Wow... this is an expensive monster.
