keke, miss out the word ALMOST

 

almost the same scene as my last accident, only this time this cab is coming from my left. (last time was right) :cry: if hit really roti prata.

it's really a very close shave, cab can't stop n eaten half my lane, was prepared for precision aim on my crash bar n fly again. however i escaped.

 

it's due to my quick thinking; saw the right lane which the traffic was opposite, it's empty, swerve into that lane, quickly swerve back into my lane. did a complete stop at almost 90deg angle. turn my head left was prep to chase the cab if he runs, then he roll down his window keep saying sorry to me. traffic coming along all jammed because of him. got stunned for a while, then i forgave him, we both go our own way thus case closed. kekeke...

 

 

take care brothers n sister, the road nowaday is not kind to us, every vehicle out there is trying to murder us. even bikes, just recently this bike never check blind spot, turn left as i'm oncoming, swerve into my path. tap my horn, didn't even flinch, only his pillion turned her head to check. correction; EVERYTHING rem recently had close shave with a dog?

 

Aurthur same case like mine but mine cant escape... Its either hit the car or hit the oncoming car... So i pick the car... No choice... Luckly i no jet pack... That would be my third choice...

Guys, would you be interested in a HOV session specially made for our group ? (H.O.V = Hazard Oriented Vision).

I think it would be a good thing... It's a session where more experienced riders share their stories, and share with us some ways to better anticipate danger and what to do. I can get in touch with @endlessloop and see if it's possible to organize something.

 

In any case, I think it would be good to have regular safe riding mini events to raise awareness and help us all keep in mind that we have to improve our riding every time we ride.

Most of the accidents if not all that our group has met are due to the other road users not being careful enough. Hence the need to be really sharp and good at anticipating.

 

I am currently still taking care of the t-shirt and logo + FAQ stuff which will start soon, so I don't think it's wise to spread onto something else but I'm happy to help contact the right people. If a few of you are willing to help, we could have a Ride Safe session and share tips and help each other.

2. You can make a difference. 1 vote is as important as 10000 votes, always remember that. People have become presidents and changed nations with single votes being added.

3. If you have any love for Singapore, any part or side of it, may it be its people, its towns or its story, if you feel attached even a little bit, and you can vote, then vote. By voting, you are participating to Singapore's life with something else then just paying taxes you are told to pay.

 

Trust me, not voting is what injures countries. You might not be into politics and you might think it's not worth it. But think about it.. you have a voice, use it. Regardless of the outcome, at least by using it you have participated.

Just a simple example, in France, a few years back, citizens were feeling detached from politics. Thinking everyone was the same and none of the parties were worth representing them. They turned their backs on voting. Next thing you know, the most racist party who has always been collecting minor votes all of sudden got enough votes to go through the first phase of the election. It has never happened in the country's history ever before. I can tell you at the second round all those who said before they couldn't be bothered to vote got off their asses and went to vote so that party wouldn't be allowed to go any further in the political race.

But the damage was done. People started doubting. Minorities felt targeted. The fact that some people didn't want to vote was a clear factor responsible for what has happened.

 

Anyway, my point is, if you are able to vote, please vote.

long time i had no issues with my p180 until recently. my brothers been riding my p180 for almost 3 months now. he told me that d engine oil dries up often and he had to top up eo almost every 2-3 weeks. i suspect something is leaking but i got no time to inspect my bike cos my brother riding most of the time.
