@speedaddict, you know how this group works; asking doesn't work.

What works is to set a date, time, possibly WE or Fri evening, and put your name on top of a list. And people will add theirs too

 

As for me, my ear is injured and I can't wear a helmet because of that so no riding until maybe next week

 

@alvinyansg, I won't be able to make it today for the DIY because of the above, it would be awesome if you recorded a HOW TO, please please! (just quick recording, don't bother editing too much).

Oh and also, I am looking for other riders to cross into Vietnam with me to share the cost of the entry permit.

I have posted this message on several forums.

 

I know that most of the active non lurking members of SBT have a day job so I don't know if you would be interested, but of course, it would be a blast to share this experience with fellow Pulsarians

But it doesn't matter where the bike is from, so if you have friends here in Singapore or in other neighboring countries who might be interested to visit Vietnam on their bikes this summer, let them know they can get in touch with me.

I remember the last time I had terrible ear pain was when I was travelling by bus and sat by the window and my wife was feeling cold and telling me to close the window and I being the macho guy said I dont feel cold and let the cold breeze hit my face all the while. The next day I had such a terrible ear pain. I tried ear drops but still no relief, almost cried with pain for the 1st time ever in my life.

No idea how it happened. I suspect maybe using the headphones with the helmet as they are quite tight and might have bruised the ear without me noticing ? I haven't been diving or swimming in a while so that's the only thing I can think of.

Completely get what you mean, there are two things that when hurt will give you hell pain: ears and teeth. I've experienced the latter, there's simply nothing that can come close to it but ear pain.

Anyway, I'm just keeping myself high at all times with painkillers to try and numb the pain - doc says should get better in a few days.

learned to take off tank and fix protec coils! may be now i can think of fixing hazard light

 

after session had a good chat therapy

saw a distinct difference in the way RPM goes up, which in return gave good power in acceleration through traffic n lane splitting (yeh! i did lane splitting with confidence this time), was able to easily hit 8K RPM.. (speed cannot be monitored as my speedo is down)

 

will continue to monitor any gain in performance n I believe it will be good!

oh it was down long time ago... it doesn't show the speed and trip meter doesn't work... only fuel gauge works.. probably some lose connection i guess..

Which led me to instead play with iMovie and create a BTMO Trailer we can use next time we advertise for our monthly outing
