Lol! u changed ur fuel tank?? the other time i asked, i think it was 240. but i might be wrong. cos the 3D logos cost 42, and i remembered that it's not too far from changing the whole tank, which includes the logos..

btw i pumped today at JB. First shell lots of attendants. was denied of 95, but the sign is ambiguous and didn't say SG ppl can't pump 95.

went to the Caltex near the old custom, no attendant!! but their sign specifically says Malaysian ic is needed. i sneakly pumped with a credit card and left.. haha.

No but out of curiosity I asked how much is was, thought it would be good to add it to this list.

I think the price includes the logo, but I'm not sure at all.

just a question people, why do u upsize ur main jet? how u know when to upsize? cos i see here like got quite a few up jet it.

It allows more fuel flow, from what I understand, the main jet controls the fuel flow when you throttle, from the carburetor. Upsizing makes the mixture richer.

When richer, it also means a bit of cooling and help avoid overheating when riding very long distances: this is why it was advised to me to upsize it for my trip.

I'm still learning about all this, and most I shared here I learned when I was researching the topic.

The direct effect of upsizing the jet are for me a change in the idle speed : now once the bike has rode a bit, say 15-20min, its idle speed jumps from the normal 1.2 k RPM to 2k RPM or close.

I guess I will have to either change the idle speed or the AFR: I don't know which one..

Also, I was told to expect a slight drop in FC which I haven't been able to calculate yet (only 250km on the full tank for now).

Arghhhh so pissed off about ytd. Was going straight on a traffic light, from my side of a traffic light, a lorry was attempting to turn right, most probably blocking me from view from the opposite side. As i cross half this car from opposite side just turned right and was halfway into my lane. ZZZZZZ. I had to brake like hell and swerve abit to avoid him. Sighhhh. Scared the daylights out of me. :(

when does a bike needta go for inspection? will they send a letter or something?

Yeah, LTA will send you a letter. But regardless, inspection needs to be done once every year before your road tax renewal. The date is usually the same as your bike regn date and COE expiry date.

You can check your details on the LTA website:

Did something foolish today. Tried to squeeze past a huge 8 wheeler at a filter lane. Didn't see the curb was going in which gave me' lesser space to squeeze.

Managed to squeeze in 0.1 sec before I get knocked at squashed under it.. Will never try that again.. So scary.
