So true about the 5 screws out, 5 screws in hahaha..

I remember the first time I took out the head light assembly from Shadow, took me 4 hours to do a simple wiring and put it back.

Plus help from a friend. (It takes NGAT 10min, with one hand no less)

And I ended up looking at a screw in my palm going"O_o where does this go????"

...

We all start from somewhere, most likely, the beginning. Except for the fortune few ( who had prior access to mechanical knowledge / tools ).

My 446cents worth of review on the KNN....oooopsss....... K&N air filter on my UG2 P180.

Solo riding.

1) 1st gear - Extra pull from standstill. RPM raises faster. From 1k rpm to 5.5k rpm, the needle just climbs faster. Noticeable difference in extra torque.

2) 2nd gear - RPM stays around 4K after gear shift. Normally RPM would drop to around 3 - 3.5K. Which means, less momentum is lost during gear change and

did not loose speed. RPM can be pulled towards max but major vibration can only be felt around 7-8K rpm.

3) 3rd gear - Same as 2nd. But felt a bit of flat spot within 6K-61/4k. But momentarily only - slightly less than a second. RPM still can be pulled to max ( Red

line).

4) 4th gear - Same as 3rd but no flat spot. RPM remains stable.

5)5th gear - Same as 4th but, am able to flex more torque even in top gear.i still can get more torque with just twisting the throttle without down shifting.

The extra torque seems to be endless.

So, it seems to perform better than using a power filter / open port as the air flow is more manageable. Also, did not notice any less in FC..

Thanks to mj(alerting me) & Alvin( wrong model) , feeling the good ride now. Hope for more racuns next.

After consulting Nemesis, it is established that SBT date of establishment is 21st April 2008.

 

So hopefully we can have a makan session around that time. Tis will be the 4th Anniversary.

wad advised by guy doing MO for K&N filters to come check with you guys this thing...

 

I'm riding a pulsar 200, it's 3 years old, on the website it says pulsar 200 regardless of the model year (e.g. 2007, 2008) the K&N air filter i should be using is the BA-2201. Is that correct? Any of you using K&N BA2201 in your pulsar 200s?

 

Also, read on some indian bajaj forums that after they install the K&N air filter, that their air filter warning signal flashes constantly. Anyone experienced this too?

most of us using either knn or protec air filter , dat sensor will flash .. so no worries lah .. jus plug off the sensor and all should be ok ..

 

yes p200, ug4 n ug3 for knn the model is BA-2201

 

while ug2 n ug1 will be using BA-1801
