yeah dun bother with him la.. so childish.

its true that Wave has better FC than pulsar, but only 4.7L capacity.. pump every other day wo.. so troublesome. i gave up my Wave to change to Pulsar also :D

ok what.. every 3-4 days top up once. at least with wave, you go anywhere sure can fix your bike.

kinda agree with you. i don't think that they are unfriendly. some of the mechanics even recognise me. BUT i wonder how knowledgeable they are. seems like i'm not happy with when they tell me your bike ok la when i can certainly feel something's wrong. turned out that after i changed my front tyres, it's ok already! so go figure. perhaps, they are still learning about pulsar. i would love to try another shop's mechanic but seems like no bike shop is willing to do pulsar.

Bros - need some help. Realli keen to get a new Pulsar 200 due to feuel economy but hear conflicting stories about reliability. QC also not so good .. rust on new bikes and some obvious touch-up. Bottom line, is it worth going ahead?

if u think petrol n maintenance is ur concern and do not need speed, then pulsar is for u.

other than the above mentioned then re-consider.

so far i have not heard any 200 failing in spore.

Rust sure happens when metal exposes to oxygen...

bottom line is still up to urself. we have pple riding pulsar for few months and sold off the bike. others like me have stuck n swear by it for the past 2yrs , some even 3 yrs FZ plate.

1 thing other bikes in spore cannot - to n fro malacca in 1 full tank. Test n Proven

we welcome u here if u get one. but if u do not, we r still biker brothers~

I been riding Pulsar 180 for 2 years, and the bike never gave me problem. Is the matter of how you take care of the bike. Here a plus point. Going up and down to and from Kuala Lumpur 11 times. I see even a FBB plate like mine already look like a 10 yrs old bike. Get what I mean.

You know this bike can take you from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur in a single full tank. The smoothness of the engine of very good except for high speed of course. Realibility is even as close standard to other average bike.

interesting.. at 80km/h and above, I feel that there is less vibrations leh ^_^ the worst of the vibrations seems to be about 70-79km/h (guesstimation).

maybe becos p200 rear sproc has lesser teeth so the vibrations are brought down to a lower rpm? but just a side note, since last week, feels like my bike has started to vibrate significantly more. tot it could be an engine oil change due.. so i went to change into Fuch Silkolene 15w50 syn. so far so good :D

after oil change, vibrations have lessened but still more pronounced than before. any suggestions on how to remedy vibrations? maybe the vibrations can help me slim down.. haha.. uPulsar

180 n 200 totally diff, seriously i'm also having doubts about 200. 180 typicaly is quite stable.

btw, i met a few weeks old 200cc at um, the owner not too happy, his bike died half way while riding, n um engage the tow didnt take care got scratches. according to him, up gear not smooth, u-turn very hard as the handle cannot turn in fully. but that's only 1 case, u better do ur own homework if u're really keen in this bike.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

yes, u only need allen key to turn out the 2 screws. i got a spare if u want. what color do u wanna spray? typically it's best to get heat resistant paint, not many color which i found in diy shop, think only gold and silver.

i also feel vibration, but dont bother that much. u'll usually feel it if u're the driver, much closer to the engine. my right side will vibrate more that the mirror is blurred. perhaps only those who r more sensitive will not feel too good about it.

Could you quote me a range for Insurance for 20 yrs old going to 21 then?

I see some Pulsars going off at the range of 2.5k-3.5k in Garage sales, are they trustworthy then?

btw, thanks for the prompt reply.

if the milage is low n quite new, usually it's ok, else better get ur friend who knows about bikes to lookout what's the potential problem. this goes the same if u're getting fr private or shop. if u're getting fr shop, get the owner to write down what he promise u, so he cant deny after that. but 4 pulsar dont think many 2nd shop got. if u go um, the boss quite a nice guy. ;)
