I agree! The new one (Fast and Furious 4) is better than the first one, the races more exciting and the plot more engaging! It was damn exciting watching it. This one is more on story and overall experience than the cars or technology used in the car. One bonus is the new girl in the movie is HOT! Definitely recommended, 4/5

Fast & Furious 4 is good show to me...I watched all & find that the latest one with lotsa twists....

I watched it with my missus last night, the show kept me at my edge of the seat...superb show! kept my heart at a fast rate throughout the movie..the end was a real good 1...(his daughter was a good looker got nothing to do with it!)

i tink X-men origins is the start of a new series of x-men movies coz they ran out of ideas.. coz personally x-men 3 sucks.. 1 and 2 was the gd.. but if they make a movie of each character's origins, there cld be a chance it wld b great as each have different story..

 

angels and demons! cant wait.. but saw the reviews they changed it from a prequel to a sequel.. that's the reason y i stopped reading the book halfway.. or i mite not like it if not to my expectations frm the book..

 

btw since most of u here are movie lovers, anyone know any privillege card that entitles u for nice offers for movies.. my UOB now can watch at cathay for $8 anytime anyday.. but im getting the safra card.. much2 cheaper rates..

i kinda think that Wolverine is a cool movie, esp if you love the character. I feel that X-Men & its triology was getting nowhere. With Wolverine's Origins now being shown, it rekindles my interest & kinda now able to piece the wolverine's jigsaw puzzles...WOW..Its a show for the WOLVERINE PURIST!

At least 3 I can spot:

 

1. CERN lab was uncertain that they can actually produce the antimatter at the beginning of the show. If so, how could the mastermind be planning all these IN ADVANCE? It is like he could predict Sunday winning numbers.

 

2. The Carmeangelo will be facing too much risk to execute the stunt at the end of the movie (ie flight with the antimatter especially when Victoria warned that the time is running out. I wouldn't want to play with my life if the thing can detonate in a shorter than expected time, with unexpectable explosive power)

 

3. I still don't quite undertand what could the Carmeangelo get to gain going through all these? As mentioned, he is too young to be the Pope. Even if he blown up the Vatican, there will still be cardinal more senior than him elsewhere that could be a possible candidate for the Pope.

i agree.. it seems like carmeangelo's plans was too far fetched but it went according to plan, amazingly..

 

the movie was great, not as gd as da vinci code to me coz i love those kinda treasure hunt movies like national treasure.. but overall its great.. loved the scene when antimatter exploded.. the sky looked so scarily beautiful..

oops... loophole No.4 uncovered: if they are taking the helicopter to a higher altitude which is getting colder, wouldn't it explode EVEN faster, since it was mentioned that the coldness reduced the battery lifetime? argh... better stop thinking about the movie...

Anyways, these views are my own interpretation of the movie. They need not be right...

backup plan? but then, robert langdon wouldn't be meeting Victoria right?

for point 3, that would contradict point 2 right? if he dies, how could he be the pope. i mean, a person do something like this for his own gain. here, i dun see the pay out at all for his actions.

 

the original story was last minute, he feigned to have a vision and "discovered" the location of the antimatter. then, both he and robert langdon got up the helicopter. robert langdon questioned him his "vision", and fearing he was exposed, he jumped off with the only parachute. robert langdon teared sumthing off the helicopter and utilising the airwaves generated by the explosion and was blown some 100 miles away into the Tiber River (ridiculous!) langdon then came back and exposed him. Guess the director thot the original story was too far fetched and removed it.

 

sigh... Mr Brown's Incredible Tales...
