Hi guys,

I have been riding naked bikes for awhile since I got my 2B. Currently riding Super 4 VTEC1. Recently, I have been unusually attracted to scooters. This could be my sec sch friend's influence as he is riding a T-max. Now I am inclined to Forza, Burgman or even T-Max

I have been trying to find the pros-and-cons for having a scooters compared to having a, say, naked bikes. Things like maintanence and spare parts availability?

Could you guys advise me a little bit?

would you like to list down what are the pros-and-cons do you think a scooter has to you that you already know? Or what you you really like in a scooter and what you don't.

sorry, it wasn't a debate at all. It's you who started being so rude. So you consider yourself friendly by calling someone a no-brainer? Think about it, do you think it's nice to hear from a Moderator calling someone a no-brainer? The internet is huge man. If he doesn't know what exactly a maxi-scooter is, there is always the wikipedia?

would you like to PM who_noe, instead of here?

Thanks for the invitation. I would really love to join. Any outing planned?

I really have a thing for the burgy and silverwing. Which ones are more economical in terms of maintenance and FC?

NO OFFENCE INTENDED for all scooter owners here, in fact would like to be enlightened before I make a commitment to buy a scooter but for the reply of an earlier post, the one i heard from a lot of ppl are

"High FC"

"High Maintenance"

"Rare spare-parts, hard to source when u really need it"

"runs on belt leh, not safe and belts are ex. have to change often"

"scooters cannot last long and breakdown easily"

Thanks guys and peace no war here hehehehehe :cheeky:

I think it would be good for you to look at each respective threads be it Silverwing, Burgman or TMax and see what kinda of common reviews they usually post. Each has its pros and cons and all depends on personal preference, but that's of course, if you are not in a rush in getting one... :thumb:
