If i not mistaken.... ur speedo reading is definitly more than 107. 107 is TP reading.. anyway.... here some advise.

 

1) See MPs. their letter of appeal do have some weight in court.

2) Ur speedo is faulty.

3) Have a mech or workshop to confirm that ur speedo is faulty.

point 2 and 3 is worthless, there a lot different between 50 km/h and 100km/h.

 

if can get workshop to confirm the the speedo is faulty, there might be another additional charge that rider didnt ensure bike are road worthiness. Mind you, when traveling half way on the road and fuel run out, its also an offend as didnt ensure the fuel is sufficient and cause hazard on the road.

basically if kena caught for speeding what they want is just $$$$ thats all. One wrong move and we people kena pay $$. The culture here is like that. what you and i can do? well nothing. just pay them.

got back my license in two months at bbdc.

helps alot that i was a revoker so kinda breezed thru my lessons.

and i havent been caught for anything since

just wanna ask, if i already get 2a and lets say kena 18 pts again, will revoke also or still gt 24 pt?

and if revoke, revoke all license or just 2a? heard from some rider frens that they will only revoke the license u were using, eg car, cls3, bike, cls2a

if u pass 2a less than 1 yr..u onli gt 12points. since u ever kena revoked b4, they will take dat into consideration for charging. i gt into a bike accident and all my licenses was revoked for 3mths. best u sought an mp to give u e best advice. hearing from ur frens n other riders r just rumours..mps n lawyers noe e law..juz my 2ct

The TP talk at the SBF anniversary event said that if revoke, it's revoke for all classes, whatever class you currently hold. If you want to get Class 2, have to start from scratch at Class 2B all the way, go through the entire process.

if i heard correctly at the anniversary, depend who revoke u. if tp revoke u, only for that class, if u go court n got revoke, all class gone.

 

if u got revoked b4, u start from 12pt. u get 18pt in 1st yr, bye bye license. 18pt in 2nd yr, still can drive/ride, cos u got 24pt.

 

take care n ride safely n u wont even have to bother any police on patrol.

as above, i went 107kph on old airport road near ubi, limit 50kph.

just replaced my suspension, sprocket, chain n valve, so had to test it out n it seems like my hand got abit itchy since i was on the right lane with no cars in sight

 

stopped at t junction and got a shock when i looked back.

TP was behind me.

was pulled to the side and was summoned for speeding.

 

so anyone with experience can help me out? what happens when i recieve the letter in 3 weeks time? our big brother TP kept telling me that im only allowed to have 12 demerit points and the offence i just made, IS 12 demerit points.

 

been riding for a month n a 1/2 now. first time seeing our hantu on 2 wheels in action, unfortunately its due to me

TS, just take it like a man and count your lucky stars. Lucky you not involved in any accident or anything. Lose licence, can take again. Lose life, is forever.

 

Oh ya, one more thing. If you take Class 2A, your point will be reset to 12. Once your 1 yr of Class 2A probation finish, become 24 points again.

think tat one LTA .. cause i got stopped by tp and they dont even bothered to check my road tax. just licence and insurance.

By right, Yes. The road tax must be clearly displayed and insurance must be with you during riding.

I admit I do not follow the speed limit all the time.

Be aware of ur surrondings when driving/riding for road traffic dangers/ summon danger.

Most important u live once only. Dun stop ur life in the dumbest way.

It's a good lesson only if u learn from it.

Don't think insurance paper is a must. Was stopped by TP at road block few months ago, never display rd tax, insurance paper at home. TP comms back to HQ and everything was done in under a minute.

wah bro this post since 2011 leh. just to answer the poster question.. if less than 1 year after pass 2a.. means only 12 points. if kena 18 points sure suspended. and suspension is across all the license classes.. but can appeal and/or go for driver improvement course (dips) hopefully can bring back down to 12 points so safe.. but ride safe la.. license so difficult to get don't throw it away so easily
