Anyone can tell me what's the difference between the Sporting Single cylinder and the Super Four? They don't sell the SS in Europe and US, so all the articles on the net are in Japanese.

I ride because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things.

It is not a question of living dangerously. That formula is too arrogant, too presumptous. It's not the danger I love. I know what I love. It is life itself.

The SS is a single-cylinder bike, and the Super 4 uses an inline-four engine.

Bro, that's common ....

Wonder have you ever check other makes and models MSRP overseas? Check out Yamaha R1 MSRP in US. or GSX1000R ...

Only in Singapore We are being rip off arms and legs for a bike. And cars too ...

Don't just qoute Mah ... it's across the board. Wondering how much is the Tax? and how much is the profit?

the CB400SS sitting position is more upright whereas Phantom is more like a chopper.

Tax for most motor vehicles in Singapore if i not wrong is 45%, read somewhere long long time ago.. Dunno how much is it now...

So if u add it all up, vehicle cost, tax, shipping, dealers profit, retailer profit, COE, etc. Owning a vehicle in Singapore would cost 2-3 times more then in other country

Profit for dealer, is usually 300%..

eg bike cost $1k (cost price) after tax is $1450, delaer will sell at 3 x $1450= $4350 to cover profit and etc... retailer aka bike shop will sell abit higher, plus GST and all close to $5k.

If u compare with the initial cost thats almost a 500% increase, usually its more, cos the above example doent include shipping and other taxes and fees. But do take note that 500% is not gross profit, the profit is little. The rest go to the "garment" so that they could be one of the highest paid politician in the world.. :)

i like it. retro looks.

single cylinder 400cc may prove to be a little too much for a naked bike. or for this case, maybe its better left in the "cafe bike" category?

i shudder to think about how much effort would be needed to kick start a single cylinder 400cc engine. woo!

Bajaj Pulsar 180 - UG3 (2007 - )

Suzuki GSXR-400 (2008 - 2009)

Piaggio Vespa GT 200L (2009 - 2011)
