juz wanna know if ur bike got mod then must send to bike shop help u send for inspection ?

I have been riding for 2 years and i haven got any letter for inspection. Is that common?

Hi folks I bought ybr125,second hand bike one yr back.

End of the month got due for inspection.

What r all the things i need to chk for inspection...

Tyre?? Battery?? Engine?? Brake??

tyres, both ur brakes, signal lights, headlight, brake light, license plate light, mirrors, pipe, number plate. i think thats abt all i can think of right now.

 

if ur ybr has illlegal modification, either uget it changed b4 u go for inspection, or send to shop to do it.

any inspection centres near yishun or AMK are? I heard there is one at Sin Ming where i can do inspection and renew road tax. Anybody care to give exact locations of where it is? It would be even better to state what other buildings are beside that inspection centre... Sorry about the questions, but its my first time to do inspection ^^

I failed my inspection recently because my exhaust got welding mark which is because i decarbonized my exhaust , ......... so troublesome. That means we cant decarbonize exhaust ? Anyone can shed any light on this ... i spend money to decarbonized , then now was told to buy new exhaust.

Some qn about inspection..

Going to first insuspection soon by around july. My bike is sp.. 2 stroke. so of course cfm ton lots of smoke. Also I realise my sp exhaust sound is deeper tone than other sp and louder.. even my kawa friend thought i remove the cap.. however i did not did anything to my exhaust since i bought the bike from shop.

 

Also my rear brake is extremely weak as compare to the bike i used in bbdc.

 

Will I pass the inspection.. if fail.. can i go back to the shop which i bought the bike and kpkb?? <_>

Sry dunno y previous became a copy of ur post only. Here we go again.

 

1) if stock pipe shoul be ok. But if got welding marks may fail.

 

2) 2t bike sure will ve smoke. But if normal idling also alot of smoke then u may wan to try wack e bike before inspection. dunno if will work. Also dun go on cold day.

 

3) if ur brake is weak shouldnt u change it anyway rather than worry about inspection? Not just ur own safety but also other road users. Touch wood u fall becoZ pf brakes may cause others to accident.

 

4) kpkb shop? Depend on ur shop and luck.

well rear brake is weak, but usable to me since i dont play corner alot, and the front brake are still relatively strong. Since in a emergency stopping process, u applied more front brake than rear brake, for my case i just apply them equally. thats how i uses it.. im only using the bike for 6 more months.. not gonna spend a single dollar more on it, already bought a new radiator cuz my coolant leak a few month after i bought the bike and change alot of things, spending like 1k additional already..

 

 

anyway i guess i will just go try my luck, wheres the near inspection center in the west.. anywhere i can get a list of inspection centers?

 

 

do i just pick a random inspection center here and head there and say lta call me to come here?
