Hi guys, Im just wondering if a spark needs to undergo full servicing often..

My milage is 18k and the only thing i maintained on the bike is regular changing of EO every 1.5km-2km and oil filters on every 3km-4km. I dont want my spark to die halfway or having problems starting up like my neighbours fully modded spark.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

rofl.. i think u meant 1.5kkm to 2kkm..

 

if 1.5km to 2km.. u have to bring many bottles of EO with u when you leave your house

Oops! Yeah, I've change my EO on every 1.5k km - 2k km. Im just a lil worried and curious if there is a need to send sparkie for servicing after 18+k km on milage..

hmm..isit recommended to do full service...? cuz i wanted to do the last time but the mech says no need as wash the stock carb and all will cause problems later..isit true or he goreng(bluff) cuz lazy to do?hmm..

hi,

anyone knows the max tyre size that can be used on a spark?

is it 80/90? & to increase top speed, do i use a smaller rear sprocket?would it stress the engine too much if i keep it stock but only change rear sproket to get better top speed?

Answers the question? Fully modded bikes are as reliable as standard bikes. Spark is a transport bike so if u insist, the bike can still run quite smooth all the way up to 5000km on fully synthetic oil. And u're just wasting money if u go for full servicing (take out block, wash) every 20000km. But if u have the money den why not.

I see 150/60 on spark before. How fast u wanna go? It's only 135cc

I'm using the normal denso plug but not sure of the model tho...

NGK: CR8EIX

DENSO: IU24

 

I use NGK platinum. I feel it's better den when i use iridium. Maybe my bike not mod enough for iridium .

 

One note: U must richen ur mixture when u use iridium if not ur bike will run lean. Very dangerous in the long run.

brand new spark now 10k plus fully modded can go all the way to 200kph. installment only at ONE shop called ah boy. 0 dp, monthly $50 only. consider now spark damn cheap le. must get.

then i think you better dun buy a spark.

 

i've never heard of any spark that can do 120km/h with a pillion.
