hey all!!do u guys recommend o-ring or x-ring chain for kr??goin' to change chain soon so...need some tips!!

 

if u change in singapore, take the 428 O-ring ( japan made )

 

1 set 428 chain wif sprockets ( front rear ) going for $95

 

i am using ...if u take care ..can last few years , no problem

its my cousins bike... i test rode it wif him on the back. the suspension very soft already. left filter lane turn eeeekk the side stand...

 

anyway iam definetly shooping ard for a 2nd hand kr... any got shop to go looking for one??

i got a kr related qns... when cornering left.. do u guys scrap the side stand?? is that normal?

 

nope, unless u really corner very very low but i nv seen before.

or if u still engage the side stand then if turn left then kana scrap sidestand?

yah lor true.. my fried bore his block, ovrsize his piston, change to racing CDI, usin sprketsize 49, super fast throtle, titantinum rims, michelin pilot tyre, arrow pipe, and carbon fibre fairings. only no turbo or Nitrous oxide..

very possible.. got it once while cornering with a pillion. He was the "jumpy" fellow, malay say is "lemah semagat". Almost buang, but lucky managed to control. Juz control your cornering when carrying a pillion, u be surprised at the number of stuff u can scrap (stomach, sidestand, fairing.. etc)

 

And Yen's method of 1-man-job lubing works.. tried it on sp, tzm and of course kr b4. Haven't done it on my s4 tho.. can't "kangkang" wide enough la..

its normal..however that u are going very low liaoz. usually wif pillion will happen. Check ur side stand, the spring maybe wear already. Upon 1st contact with the ground, does it "slide" or got the "eeeeekk" sound.

 

eeeeekkk.....

 

1 person enough. wait for bike to cool. ensure exhaust not hot. take a piece of cloth. Squat behind the mudguard. Put cloth on right knee, use knee to jack up the bottom of the muffler. ensure bike is stable, use 1 hand spin the rims, 1 hand to lube the chain.

wat about its piston ring? still using kr original piston ring? how about its 2t n 4t? still using local ones or aftermarket 2ts n im not talking about motul, enoc etc...? how about its air and main jet? match with all his mods? how about its swing arm? local? any hugger? using local racing cdi? wat about its gear box? using original valves? each one of this specs lies some secret n some knows and some do not knows...

 

i agree i didn't noe some of this specs dat deep but once i came to noe n were taught, i realise modification is endless n not all modifications can be used coz some were not meant for ur bike...sometime stock can be the best..sometimes mods can be the best too...

 

it all depends on how ur bike can take its challenge...

after ur bike is perfectly well, can the rider take the challenge? dat is the main question...

 

that green bike which mystery was laughing at has the specs which were meant for his bike produce that power when he wanted..n of coz that bike has its good n bad at certain conditions n terrain afterall as i said not all mods are good n not all mods are bad.. apart from that, this rider has the balls to push his bike to the limit...

 

we have seen him in his race, jackpots n escorts that he's good (note: im using good n not very good)

Bike fast still depends on the what you define as fast..Maybe its fast in short distance..Maybe its fast on long distance..These things are very subjective la..

 

There are two green bikes..I hope you know which one I'm referrin to..Apparently I know some that sits all day at the coffeshop..A couple of colleagues..

 

P.S. Most powerful bike I saw..Is uehara87's KR..Very the powderful..

Perhaps you'll understand when you actually ride a kr.

 

Power is something that you discuss of ways to improve... but control is something you can't discuss in the forums. It is something you learn through experience and skills. Besides, it's an ego thing. You may be very good at it... but because you don't want anyone to be as good or better, you won't teach them. Or be all humble and pretend not to know. There will always be people like this in any situation. That's my opinion on the matter anyway.

 

You don't know meh... there's quite a few (real) lacers and them budak design (design people) in this forum... but most of them keep quiet about it. Maybe can pm them and ask them about it.....
