actually, if u wanna do servicing in SG and got alot of qns to ask, u can just go to any bike workshop and while they service ur bike, u can just shoot the mechanics qns

full service ard $90 to $110 in SG.. did it at Racewerks in bukit merah.. very good shop.

i need to enquire bout full servicing guys..let's just say e price is $120..i send my bike for full servicing,and e mech found some parts of my bike that needs to be changed..the ques is,

 

1)do i have to pay for that particular parts + e $120,or does it comes free as it is full servicing?and

 

2)will e mech inform me 1st of e damages before changing??and approximately how long will it take for full servicing?days/weeks/months??

i think most prob, servicing is servicing, repairs is separate pricey

some mechs will call u up....others do already then let u know OR dont do anything until u come along to pick the bike, he informs you & you have to come back again on another day...

set aside say.. $150 standby lor. if u got the time to spare, sit beside the mech and if u are interested u can ask him what's this what's that. u can gain something from them.

Of coz must pay for the particular parts and the full service costs (the $120). I advise u sit by the bike while the mech works on it. This way, he will actually start working on ur bike, rather den dilly dally on other things and any changes he need to do, he can consult u. Alternately, u can leave him ur hp number. i remember servicing my bike at racewerkz, den went jalan2 at queensway, got a call bout my piston and told them to replace it. No hassles. But for me, sit by the bike still the best lah..

 

Give full servicing around 3 hours for everything to be done.. never rush ur mechs, let them do a good job. So if u come to the shop at 3, should be ready by 6 or 7pm. Either ways, SG shops are usually much faster den JB' shops (i remember waiting around 5 hours + during peak hour ).
