hi guys finally got my bike tdy!haha!!but juz now i encountered a problem..i went to look for friend so left bike parked for about 1 hr..then when turn ignition on and kick it was damn difficult to start...keep trying keep trying and it didnt work..then on choke..the bike start..so i rev it up abit..then when i let it rest the idling rpm went down and throb weakly at 1 rpm..and when i throttle again, the engine die..any idea wads wrong with it??and also juz now i pump petrol i left the lever at the side which is for reserve on..which means it was facing up..any advice anyone??it took me damn long to start the bike..lol.

My Recommendations

Tires:

TT900GP gd for distance, BT39 gd for cornering, TT900 not so lasting as TT900GP.

 

usually ppl put TT900 90/80 front, 90/80 rear for pick up.

110/70 or 120/80 rear for stability.

 

BT39 ppl usually put 90/80 front, 90/80 rear for pick up.

110/70 rear for better cornering. use 120/80 corner even more power.

 

metzeler ppl put 90/80 front, 130/80 rear, gd or not i dunno.

 

Pilot sporty front 90/80, rear 100/80, dry weather very gd, wet weather when lane splitting abit unstable.

Wears off super fast; I use one month need to change

Proven by phase_one & me.

 

Still can use other tires for rear like BT090, BT21, BT45, BT14, Sportec M1 or M3, Pirelli, Pilot Sport also can, depending on individual.

 

must often open valve so that to prevent it to be jam or clotted with carbon, also can determine whether it's functioning.

Gear one to six all can open valve, best is lower gear n drag.

Valve can be open anytime u wan, valve will not spoilt this way, so dun worry.

front 210, rear 225.

can + up to 30kpa or - to 10kpa

KR150 is a cheap and good transportation bike.

Can use any 2T, fully syn to be preferred or up to ur budget

 

Basic servicing like service carburetor every 6 months n yearly full servicing can keep the bike in gd running condition. Remember to change coolant when doing full servicing.

one whole yr nv service bike also can but if u got spare cash then go for my recommended servicing.

 

Change spark plug when faulty, spark plug can last at least 10000km.

Change EO at least once a year or when the oil indicator is low.

Change chain and sprocket at least once a year, can last more than a year if u clean and lube your chain periodically.

 

Other basic maintenance can be done periodically.

 

i nv even service anything for first 8 months when i got my bike, but got change EO.

- Japan Wheel Bearings

- Tank Pad and Fuel Cap pad

- Swing Arm Spools

- Fuel Consumption: 28.8 km/L

hello bro..im doing good, and i hope every one else is too..

yeah..i get what u mean =/.. for me 2 months without my baby bikie is really a bore..

slowly la..im sure its gonna be worth the wait =)

 

 

 

where ever u service, make sure u service at places u frequent, especially if ur doing servicing u've never done before, like example, full servicing the first time, cuz u already know ur usual mechanic's style of handling ur bike etc and how they service ur bike..cuz diff mechanic does ur bike kinda differently, esp from diff bike shops..

 

recently i went to a bike shop, which does servicing for a way cheaper price, but i'm not sure abt the way the mech handled my bike for servicing, as in the outcome, cuz im not quite sure i like it or not..cuz now my bike like freaking different and im planning to go back to my usual mechs to get it the way i prefer it..

how much is the kr head ferring? where can get? or maybe 2nd hand ones..

Hmm.. I wana get my bike's setting tuned also. Feels weird aft I tried to adjust the Idling, my itchy hand..go try turn this turn that. :cry:

Btw I need some :help:. Anyone know where to get the coolent Engine Ice?Sorry for the stupid quest :cheeky: cos I mountain turtle only go 1 bike shop nearest to my house area and they dun sell that. I wana flush out the old coolent and changed to a new ones. Hmm..if can include the price of the Engine Ice that will be the :thumb: .

how do we set the 2t thingy so that there is less smoke produced...if too much or too little will affect the performance??

haha..i always adjust the idling knob..BUT only when necessary..:D so far i meddle meddle nothing wrong ah, never affect my bikes performance, not noticable ones anyways..not sure abt others la..

 

go back shop tune then must tell them wad??wad do i ask for??

 

either u just tell them ur bike's problem and let them tell u what the cause is n rectify it, or u just tell them u wanna tune ur bike..go to a shop which u can trust ah..but that'd take time for u to find a suitable bike shop for u..cuz different mechanics suits different riders..a suggestion is u can explore a few bike shops (recommended by others who u trust their judgement), and find a suitable one for u..

Hi guys, my bike recently got this problem. Every time I try to open my valve, my rpm gets stucked and my valve won't open at all. Usually my valve opens at around 7500 to 8000 rpm but this is where the stuckage occurs. When I try to throttle abit more to let it shoot over 8k, the bike vibrates and my valve still won't open. Happens in 3 to 5th gear. Gear 1 and 2 will stucked at 6k rpm.

 

I'm guessing main reason would be because the tuning is waaay off?
