Im organizing a short nite trip for supper at GP town,Johor on the 3rd January 2009,Saturday. Time is estimate ard 9pm.If any riders, interested, I provide more details of it!!

my bike there the fuel switch there is leaking..i think is petrol..anyone can advice wad to do??i think at this rate all the petrol will leak out..

Could it be O-ring worn out? Which part is it leaking from? I had the same problem. Mine was leaking from the bottom of the tap, the part where you can screw out. Mech said my O-ring was worn and if I were to change it, I had to change the whole tap because it comes together as a piece. Cost was $55. What I did was wrap teflon tape around the thread of the thing I screwed out and screwed it back in, problem solved. Total cost, $1 for a roll of teflon tape. :D

yea mine also seems like near the bottom of the tap..wah 55 bucks for smth so small nt funny at all sia..

Try unscrew it out and wrap the threads with teflon tape, it prevents the petrol from slipping through. Not sure if it will last though. My plan is to rewrap everytime it starts to leak again. Takes like less than 5 mins. Haha. So far 2 weeks without any problems. :)

oh wells, i just wanna share my story about the LED light. My LED light was installed by my previous owner 8months ago. 1 one on each side of the fairing and one at the back.

 

3days ago, my bike died on the road and got no power at all, even when i on the switch, there's no neutral gear green light and signal light also cannot on.

then when i check the fuse, it actually broke already.

 

So LL gotta tow the bike. the mech did re-wiring. he said the LED lights cause the short-circuit. So yeah, make sure u guys install these kind of lights properly.

1 full tank how many litres? and how much u pump per full tank ?

hmm, i think as long as your light very obvious and like cause distraction to other road users, tp/lta sure catch one. haha dunno la, so far i never switch on my underseat light while riding, only a few times at the carpark for fun la. previous owner say he everytime kena caught for his light. lol.

 

anyway guys, i just bought a new yoshi racing footrest from ah boy yesterday afternn. went to mech to install it but then got problemmmmm.

 

ah boy say sure can fix one, but my mech show me that the right footrest (brake side) cannot fix properly. he say can modify la, but very dangerous cos then my brake won't be "straight"?? sian.

 

the left side got no problem installing, but after i changed to the new footrest, i find that the gears feel very "light" and "soft" while shifting. like i cannot really feel when the gear engages. is it because my footrest not "seasoned" or sth? or i just not used to it.

 

any gurus got any advice!!

my fc quite high leh for my bike...dunno y also but when i got the bike its already like that..1 full tank can pump abt 10 litres and how much depends wad u pump lo..now prices all and 1.5 to 1.8 depending on wad u pump...
