Lesson learnt. Whatever shop says, get them write every single thing in white and black. So after dealing all, whatever not happy at least it's stated there. Self protection.

well we tried our best. talk also cant outtalk boss, say all also kena corner, except for the little problems that can be rectified. now we all know, no writing in black and white, no talk.

 

Yea val, he said, "who your friend u call him come down now. who is he, call him down now" then things got a little heated up and awkward. but slowly tone down, i asked for whatever i could ask with glenn's help. this was regarding the spooks whether TP would catch, then engine all also etc. long story la, meet up another time then say too much stuff, complicated. i also fcukin sian already.

 

on a side note, next time go jb together or what, hopefully can change tyres/sports rim/disc brake etc. in the meantime hope engine/tyres all okay.

actually from wat i know is sionbazard buy a kr ,myself a spec2 , inyuki aka chris friend buy a cbr and my 2 sch friends also buy 2 spec 1 and my sec sch friend buy a cbr from them did not faced alot of issue...

 

wat is the actual trouble tat bother u and unhappy abt? maybe u can tell mi i ask and tok to them.. cuz i am a middle man and i can only be there to see wat happen but cant made more comment for both of u.. hope u understand..

 

i believe that valarie/explain share abt ur bike condition and he will be the best man for u to stand up tok with them..

 

i has msn with glen this afternoon abt this somehow... i feel tat things should be clear and all of use know wat we wan.. some of the i heard from both ur conversation is that he change everything for u and do top overhual and everything stock.. but if things ar eneed y need overhual.. and if everything are new is not consider 2nd hand liao leh..

 

anyway.. do u feel gd to get ur FX plate kr for only 2.2k with a brand newpaint, and other parts of the bike like piston, spocky rim, new 2t box, coolant box, and other etc.. even with the fame and swimarm sprayed? all cuz effort..

 

bro.. my simple advise as a friend for u is if u personally feel chop or kanna cheat for ur bike u buy, u can act as a new customer to buy a kr from other shops and see wat they offer u with the price and bike u got for now or even online..

 

lastly, for ur bike conditions, if u believe tat the part are not new or etc.. will be gd if valarie or any1 who can help take out the part out and see.. cuz i nv do it myself b4..

 

but b4 u do tat plz check with valarie where can u see wat are the stock parts for kr and after u open up and double check, u know which is new or not stock..

 

as glen told mi tat valarie tell u all that he was once a mech b4 and i strongly believe he will know who and where are the dealers of kr cuz he need to interact with them in getting orders..

Okay, so what happened was i at dam, so val more or less tell me whats missing or whats wrong with the bike. Really overload of info and technical terms, so i'll just try to spit out whatever valarie advised me on.

 

Firstly I bought this bike because he told me top overhaul and WHOLE BIKE STOCK blueacidicwas with me throughout from purchase to collection. $2200 CASH. FX plate with $80 top up paintwork, so i thought why not? good deal. He mentioned whole bike stock, but its not in black and white. So i can't possibly fault him on that because i didn't specifically tell him what i wanted stock. Cus i assumed everything would be stock. And somemore its not written down in black and white. Then I came on the day itself come collect (temporary fairings + paintwork) and i also didn't know how to check what, still noob, so never check.

 

Okay, so what happened was i at dam, so val more or less tell me whats missing or whats wrong with the bike. I more or less remember what val advised me on but i also still trying to absorb the info.

 

 

 

Examples valarie gave me:

 

 

Handlebar - It isnt as safe as stock, cus stock more screws and more stable. If buang gg.

 

Spooky - Illegal, tp catch? im not sure, but this was what i blurly agreed to anyway. cus initially i wanted to change to battletax tyres/sports rim. But if i were to buy from there, i cannot keep my spooks, so abit wtf? Just don't give me the discount but give me back my original one. (chocjay said) Cus i paid 2.2k includin the spooks, but don't make sense if i want to buy the rims then cannot keep old one meh? If someone can reason this out for me fine.

 

Side tail fairing near to seat (2 sides), the small fairing covering the coolant box missing - Again, on the day i collect the mech told me the previous owner cut off, then im like huh? Say stock but even simple thing like this also gone? I know previous owner go cut off or what, but if its within your means, at least give me a decent pair. End up CDI exposed to rain etc, i told him he say no problem, the mech did help me push it up later.

 

 

Things i not satisfied with

 

X1R Tail light - Changed for me, but i didn't ask at all. I want stock.

Mudguard - I know its not stock.

Waiting time for paintwork - He did keep me updated and say other shops won't give this kinda service, but he apologized as well so its cool.

 

Small problems that were rectified -

 

Seat not uniform in rewrapping - He said okay, come back change for you new rewrapping.

 

Below head fairing not even screwed. Change new set of screws never give, but when i mentioned today, the chief mech said np, order for me free, then screw for me. Lol then i go up the boss said, huh u order then must pay leh? So obviously i said ur mech say free, then he of course say ok la give u free lah. Amusing how your choice of words can affect whether u'd need to pay or not.

 

Also, the other mech did help me fix the air hose rubber tubing thingy, on both sides, which previously wasn't fixed. I'm not sure whether this is a preference or problem. The stomach nv screw in, but he said its already very stable. Not sure whether it would be an issue though.

 

 

These are the things he changed for me that are new, so i appreciate this gesture. Not that whether it matters or not (subjective)

Piston, Piston Ring, Gasket, Grip, Balancer, No. Plate, Wind Screen, Seat Rewrap, 2T Box, Coolant Box, Key Lock, Fuel Key Lock and much more (he claimed)

 

Conclusion

After i paid for the bike, i smsed about the tail light thingy and he said for stock lighting and all, before purchase if compromise then workshop will fix back original. I guess it didn't occur to me to fully specify cus what his version of stock meant. It was engine and block (internally)

 

But weird cus when before buying, say everything stock. Then after paying say how can bike shop give everything stock cus parts sure changed etc or what, if fully stock not 2nd hand bike already. This is mainly partly my fault lor, not saying and scrutinizing every part of the bike. But whatever the case, i think its all cool now..

Since whats done is done, he also explained to me on his part that he can do what, he do, if beyond his limit then cannot. However, whatever small **** i say i not happy he immediately say okay, can np, do now etc. I'll give him that. So ultimately, i don't know whether its the miscommunication or what, since they are a nice bunch of people(fabian would know). Maybe my high expectations? I don't know where it went wrong lol. You guys be the judge if u have managed to read until this far.

 

I quite cbf now though, type so ****in long also sian. But i just hope no one gets offended by my post. Just voicing out what happened, don't intend to spoil business or what.

 

 

Then go back rewrap wash bike change screws THATS about it.

 

 

Do share with me your perspectives on these thoughts of mine since i'm a super new rider. I also might be wrong as well about certain things since i don't know how it works.
