anyone know know much to change a battery for kr ???

and also. if i use water to wash bike. will the lube on the chain be washed off? ( i dont use water to spray on my chain delibrately)

 

use water hose its okie, dun use high pressure hose spray.

relube after washing the bike

If your judgement comes before your P-plate end and its bad news, you will be revoked lor.

 

If lets say your P-plate ends, your points will automatically increase to 24. After that the judgement comes and it is bad news, even though you got 24 points now but at the time of the offense you only had a 12 point limit. So it will still be revoked, if thats what is Des trying to point out. It doesn't matter if judgement comes after your P-plate end, they will pass judgement according to how many points you were allowed (which was 12) at the time of the offense.

sian past 1 mth has been feeling front area like heavy feeling abit like tyre going flat or puncture but its not duno wad problem gonna go in check soon

Bros, i want to ask smtg, my KR recently got some problem..tend to get stuck when riding. i dunno whats the real problem but something vibrating weirdly at the engine area..not smooth when riding..um but then after riding for awhile..the bike ok le..then it starts again later on..it begin when i rev abit then got the 'rough' sound..stuck here and there..any of u guys knw whts the problem? for me i think its the throttle that got prob..nt sure..i feel lyk going shop open everything and see..but i wud lyk to try posting here first see got response...

err..hard to explain..but the thing is..when throttling the bike will get 'stuck' like tt. then after riding awhile, it will be okay..moments later will start again..it happens when i start to throttle..picking up speed..firstly i thought it was the chain..but the footrest>gearbox area starts to vibrate weirdly..

mmm. u mean it will stop at certain speed and no matter how much throttle u apply, the speed just wun increase?

%#$%!@#$%%!#$@% WTF! Almost smashed into a minibus today opposite VivoCity, near the taxi stand. Had to freaking e-brake and skid, filling the whole road with my squeaking noise of my tires. The a**hole minibus was crossing the intersection all the way from Harborfront centre to my extreme left lane on the opposite side of the road. I bet he beat the red light thats why he almost kena me if not for my e-braking.

 

He gave me the wide-eyed and gaping mouth look with his hand up apologetically. My hand also came up, I meant my finger. He was probably going to pick up the waiting crowd at the taxi stand just beside me. The women at the taxi stand were covering their mouths with their eyes big big....lol. I simply rode off after that. On second thought, maybe I should have gotten off my bike and give the driver a good telling off.

hello guys! im new here! got a myself a KR about 2 months back just overhauled it then.

well once overhaul the smoke discharge was alot, but then after sometime of riding it became betta and had no smoke..

then like 2 days back had unusual sound.. the bike sounded like a TZM on idle. when i clutch in was ok... well i checked out that engine oil level was low...

well today when to HKL where i overhauled previously.. said that there was a problem in the engine inside.. meaning

the part were the conrod is has scratchs or something.. n he said must send for argon alloy shimming..

meaning they pour hot argon alloy then they sand it down so the surface is smooth..

right now my bike is takin in 2t+petrol+ENGINE OIL!.. coz it seeps thru the scratch place..

the smoke is very thick and rabak!..

they offered 350 fr the alloy thingy.. :((

worth it??

or any other recommendation..

really need to get the bike running soon again as. i ride to school in it :((

bro.. i would suggest you to check out at planet.. they will advise you more "correctly" instead of anyhow this and that.. Price not cheap nor expensive.. standard pricing.. but confirm no anyhow chop..

Go to a preffered shop, do a proper full service plus setting and i bet it'll be ok. Do at jb for cheaper price.

I can recommend u my mech in jb that can check out exactly whats the problem. Bcoz for our bikes its almost impossible for engine oil to go in with ur patrol unless the engine gasket they never fix properly.

I can recommend u my mech in jb that can check out exactly whats the problem. went to shop they say valve jammed. quote me 120 sgd. change gasket everything. is that normal pricing?

but bro.. when i blow.. the smell of the smoke aint 2t tau..

its engine oil.. yesterday i randomly go there coz my 6th gear had a funny sound to check that.. end up saw why it was lack of engine oil.. so he top up.. fully synthetic..

then well after start the smoke was alot like last time after overhaul.. i asked him he said that there is some stratch at the inner casing so must melt alloy and then polish it back so no engine oil will seep thru..

yesterday i ride back home with that.. whole of AYE was covered with smoke :(

no one was near me ..haha..
