hi guys...need some advise on sprockets...front/back-15/36 is for distance den if front sprocket up 1 teeth wat would the outcome be??stronger pick up or distance??

get bigger sprockets for rear if you want pickup. i got one size 41 rear sprocket. you want? i sell you. $5. cheap. used for the most a month. can be witness by planet. cos i change at planet.

 

Front 15 is just right for kr engine n gear ratio, smaller or bigger will make the engine more stressed n wont be able to reach max potential

thought stock front is size 14 and chain is the desmond using size one.

By default kr is 15/41. My fren bought a 1st hand kr it came with 15/41.

 

My rear is 39 as said to me by ah chiong....so is it distance or pickup?

Wayliang, then u change from the 41 to what size? mine is 36 leh, planet uncle told me mine is too small but still can use, he recommend me use 41 leh. thinking of changing after 6 months...

Bro...distance means more top end speed la right? So what was your top speed when you used size 41?

i tink like kyrul said unless ur bike has been modded best not to use 36/37 ..... 38/39 i tink best for stock bike .... for me im using 15/38/39 forgot which rear sprocket .... has pickup and oso distance(topend) + FC is gd

My FC only 19-20km/l. Dunno how some krr can go 32km/l!

riding style matters too ride slow and steady .... for me now i ride onli 80-100 on kr meter unless im really in a rush then ill spd but muz take care and control ..... then onces every 2 - 3 days ill open valve in case valve jam lol ..... my FC has increase since i change my riding style unlike last time i onli change gear after rpm 5 and likes to drag alot my FC is terrible

dun wack.. RPM maintain below 6.. get stock stomach, stock everything.. carb jet put stock.. dun tune power setting.. ok.. you are good to go..

What u mean by more distance? U mean higher speed? But the planet uncle told me mine 36 will have lost of power when at gear 6 leh. Currently pick up from red light, i win most of the time la...compare to other vehicles. Kub sometime can win me in first 2 sec, then i overtake him...

I don know. I don ride more than 120km/hr. Somemore now working place quite near, no need go expressway, i only speed at 70 to 90 km/hr only.

my fc now avg 32/l highest i ever get was 35/l ... bigger sprocket will have more pickup but topend wise will affect by how much i duno .... but previously when using sport rims avg like 27/l

hihi bros me again! something i want to learn from you guys..how can make our clutch harder when we clutch in and out? to avoid clutch slip i think cuz mine now kind of soft..thanks for the reply!

Yes very shiok. I once piston jam when reach km/h. Hahah luckily nothing happens. Opened up engine. Conrod block piston gone. Overheat plus the wheather plays a part. It was in malaysia aniway.

haha yea thats 1 of the two things im afraid of when attempting to clear meter ..... another is to see uncle infront of u or chasing behind ur back lol
