Hello ppl,

i recently skidded off my bike. As a result, my exhaust pipe have deep scratches from the skid & now, it's starting to get rusty.

Anybody can suggest wat to do? I tried to use Autosol to clear the rust but not helpful at all. Thanx in advance.

Its very common for 2-Stokers to emit smoke when jus started from cold.

huh

u mean the newer ones dont have valve jammed opened problem one ah?

RPM falls and the valve close back swee swee?

:giddy:

Newer ones maybe won't face this problem as wear is still minimal due to it's age (Or the lack of it!). Did your problem go away or is it still there?

Anyway, those esso LOW-smoke 2T and stuff ... ALMOST every OTHER 2T claims to be low smoke anyway..

In any case, i find that as long as yr bike is stock, and you didn't tune up yr 2T intake to the max, the smoke usually goes away after 10mins from travelling when started from cold.

tts why i nvr go ah gua lane anymore.

another reason is the absurdly long waiting time, i once waited 6 hours.

over here i just leave the bike there and walk off.

guys, wanted to ask wads the diff between chain spray and chain wax ?

and btw how long you spray once :cheeky:

both chain lube spray and wax serve same purpose of lubricating the chain

difference is probably the resultant lube on the chain

if u use wax u r probably gonna have a layer of white or other color stuff on yr chain

if u use colorless spray lube...then it wont leave behind the colored layer like the wax

u may wish to lube yr chain according to number of days e.g 2weeks one time or according to distance travelled e.g 500km one time or according to exposure to rainy weather e.g kena more rain then lube more frequently

choice is up to u

for the bike ( make sure the brakes and tyres in good condition )

as for the numbness the big balancers will save you from that :thumb:

hmz...duno leh...i still dont like the idea of overworking the bike

wouldnt want to give any chances for my bike to breakdown

try using those rust removal sprays like WD40 to at least clear away some of the rust lor

after that u can consider spraying the scratched portions with WD40 every week or so regularly to prevent further buildup of rust

hmmz

problem has been there since i bought my bike 1/2year ago

juz that when the valve opens....i need to slowly close throttle bit by bit....then the valve will close back

canot abrupt close throttle...like that confirm jam for my case :giddy:
