i disagree wif u guys lah. i also arsenal fan and am equally upset, but not to your extent. look at the way the games were lost or drawn. the goals which sunderland and hull scored were really quality goals and i doubt any other keeper would have saved them.

 

of course, another reason would also be arsenal's failure to score goals against these 'lesser' opposition teams. they seem to be employing similar tactics. crowd the penalty box, prevent arsenal from passing into the box, and you effectively stop them from scoring.

 

other teams such as manutd, liverpool and chelsea, porto for that matter, do not play such defensive games. of course, if arsenal were to defend in every game, and play with 10 men behind the ball, they would also be less likely to concede, but is that the way we want to see them play?

 

sunderland and hull did what they had to do to stop arsenal from scoring, and they got their goals through some really good shots on target. their game plan worked against arsenal. all i'm doing right now is hope that other teams do not play all-out-defend against the gunners else every game will be just as frustrating.

 

criticisms are sure to come arsenal's way for fielding a team too young, on paper at least. but the season is long and arsenal are still within a few points of the top of the table. i'll wait until december and see if arsenal are still within the top four, and if they are still in the running for the 4 trophies.

im num 1 fan arsenal.. but im a bit too sad is season.. 1stly,look febregas.. now he play alongside denilson.. both player same style..attacking mid.. so wat im trying to say middle like no balance..dats y smtime wenger have to play 4-5-1 formation,to push febregas upfront to support the lone striker. i think febregas miss flamini very much..febregas was superb wen he's ard..tireless to cover him as def mid.. now waiting for rosisky to return..hope can change a lot.

Ok another disappointing show in front of goal. Seriously, they must have left their scoring boots in the locker room. Oh well, at least we didn't concede any away goals. This makes the 2nd leg much easier (I hope!)
