Anyway, M3 reviews aint that superb by my friends who try them on track..While looking at the thread cutting on both the M1/3, i figured they would be better on the wets..

 

And 300+ on the forks, what they do anyway??

 

Well, my M1 got scrubbed so hard at PG I'd figured it wasn't the right tyre for that sport. It wasn't that sticky as well.

 

You're right about the Metzeler Sportec family...In fact, I see it this way:

 

M1 is inferior to M3 in features.

Sportec gives you the grip to ride rough, while maintaining its grip in wet conditions.

 

So final conclusion? Good for long distance, all weather touring.
