rich leh.. you going change to ebc cos "your oem are like constantly in contact and makes alot of scratching noise?"

try to blow away the brake dust with air pressure gun first. if that works to remove the noise and your pocket is still feeling heavy, you can always sponsor me to change mine to braking. :cheeky:

ask 2 diff shops about the noise liao they say all OEM are like this very noisy.. they also said it is noisy cos it is the rough kind - which i suppose is good for braking since it is rough. but noisy... he told me if i dun want noise go for sbs..

then again EBC is much better than OEM that is for sure. but i used EBC for my kawa last time not noisy at all..

i feel that it not neccessary to use ebc so good one unless u going for track for daily usage those normal will do i am using those 20 dollar one still braking well

i feel that dun waste money on thing which u not gonna make full use of it, of cos it's up to u

most importantly nv let oil touch ur brake disc and pad if not braking will have trouble,

was washing my rim with some oil base thing then my pad tio oil after that not much braking effect due to the pad absorb the oil

get better brake pads is better, better braking feel n stopping power.

budget then get those normal ones.

hmmm... ya same sentiments as sparkers1. tyres are what separates us from the ground and the brake pads are what stops us. in industries, everything are build with more than 100% tolerance no harm get the best brake pads. you wont know when you will need it.. i guess i will do the with EBS and HEL :thumb:

Hi Kakis,

I have recently just my spec 2 front and rear sprocket (Org from honda agent) coupled with RK O-ring goldchain. Also change the o-ring for my rear rim. However, after changing and upon riding the bike, I forund some metal kinda noise generating out from the rear sprocket. Have did a check and everything is running well.

:)Wondering do u guys experience the same noise when travelling. Kinda metal sound. Any kakis can enlighten me?? Perviously there is no such noise using cheong's sprockets. Thanks for reading....

Wanna ask, how to know it's time to change clutch plates? Mine got sound whenever from neutral, when I clutch in, got 'stone rattling' kind of sound coming from my gear change area.

Previous: Normal EO service at bikeshop

Now: Ah Pek's own blend of EO + X1R (Shiok to the max!, 3rd gear I rev till rpm13!) Hehehe... I still think most probably it's the clutch plates lah... Thought of doing it at UM for $120.
