Anyone has tried buying bike stuff from Batam?

COs my last trip there, i saw a few stuffs there that looked interesting. but not sure if the price is comparable and the things can be brought in or not.

hi juz got a spec1 last dan 1 mth aft tat realise e front brake disc is crooked....so sian!! ( its has those bite n let go feeling when u r abt to stop)

my bikeshop recommend mi japan 'chiong' brake disc 1 set is abt $280 rather dan original cost abt $700.......

wat shld i do????????r those japan chiong useable???good??

Hello guys. i need some help here. im currently riding a spec 3 and recently i encountered some problems while starting my bike.

sometimes when i press the electric start button, there is no sound at all(meaning cant start and dont even have the electric sound)

but after a 2 or 3 tries then can start already. i consulted the mechanic and he said need to either change the electric start or some carbon thing.

The other problem happened only this morning. when i turned on my ignition, the speedo and rpm needles will clear once(which is normal) but when i start the bike,

the lcd screens for the mileage and clock went blank, the needles cleared again and then everything went back to normal again. From what i know, this is not normal.

Anyone knows whats happening to my bike? thanks in advance.

Thanks alot pyro13. Wanna check with u guys. When my bike goes above 3000rpm, it starts to have some rattling sound. Is this normal too? I tried asking around and was told that it's normal. Btw roughly how much does it cost to get my batt replaced?

Battery i tink is 90 plus.. Rattling sound come from wer?? Is ur iu unit closed properly or ur mirrors loose??

im pretty sure the rattling sound is not coming from the iu or mirrors. its coming from the bike itself, sounds like from the engine.

5000 change eo and oil filter

10000 change eo, oil filter, sparkplugs, check brakepeads

im pretty sure the rattling sound is not coming from the iu or mirrors. its coming from the bike itself, sounds like from the engine.

Try to check if ur bellypan or sumting is loose.. Could be ur keys?? I nv heard of engine making a rattling noise unless i noob

btw any advice on how to make your ride smoother?

i had my carb serviced less than a month ago and it felt damn smooth, now its back to its old self again.

feels like theres alot of vibrations.

i got similar prob as u after serviced carb, feel rough again and vibrate.

to checkwith u guys, isit normal for the handlebar vibrate at the range of 50-70km/h when free hand? i got a box behind.

when out of this range, then it's fine.

For example, u ride scrambler.. D 1st day u get, u sae d pickup damn bloody fast.. After a month u said its slow.. But actually its d same.

haha i get what u mean.. but my prob is that trouble in starting my bike when the engine is cooled, sound like the petrol can't flow smoothly and die off and rpm needle flunctate alot after warmed at 1.4-1.6, can't stable down.
