Just nid to ensure upright position:)

 

i get 2 different reading when upright during cold and hot engine. which way is the correct way. i scare bike shop never put 3.2L. because the engine oil i use 1 bottle is 1 quartz.

it never came upon to me whether should read it cold or hot....imo...it should be cold and just nid to be between the limit line..haha

The oil should be checked hot after riding 3-4km at least. And after topping up then riding sometimes need to top up a bit more depending on how well the old oil was drained.

hi, i got this prob when i cornering, my handle like kinda of loose.. when travelling str8, let go my hand , handle wont shake, is it steering cone prob?? my wheel bearing jus changed..

It can be tire pressure, your suspension bouncy bouncy also.

Mine FZ plate with 85,000+km done. I just ride normally. Seldom speed, seldom open vtec, seldom full throttle when moving from stationary etc. Hehe

 

Bro, u seldom open vtec like that ur exhaust got a lot of black smoke when u rev high during stationary anot? Mine can see black smoke coming out. Is it gd?

when u see black smoke..its never a good sign...its ur engine oil kanna makan to the combustion chamber.... but its realli depends on condition...most of time is incomplete combustion as well.

From what i know, black smoke its ok. As long as its not white smoke. As for my bike, stationary no smoke at all.

 

Sori, jus to clarify, mine also no smoke but when ren till rpm abv 6k++ then close throttle got black smoke leh. Ask e mech cos he is e one who rev so high, and he says it's cos I seldom open vtec. Normal idling all that no prob. Hee. Tks for e insight though

From what I understand, when you rev to higher rpm during at stationary position, black smoke coming out is a sign of clearing the carbon accumulated.

Yes correct and also is good to occasionally do that as not to have carbon build up.

hi all, my bike last monday couldnt start at all, i was so scare dun know wat happen, i only left it there for 2 days but when i wann start

no matter how it juz wont start, there is the eeeeeee sound but juz wont start. than after 10 mins of trying it finally start. now everything is back normal again, but should i change my plug or wat would be the problem?

hi all, which shop does re-wiring at a cheaper price.. HKL Quote me $420 for re-wiring and $450 for new CDI.. my bike cannot start and they ask me to changed these 2.. is this normal price..? im riding vtec1..

Dear Fellow Rider,

 

Im currently riding a S4 Spec III and lost my key.

Bike still under Hire-Purchase with ASPhoon(Serangoon).

I was shock that they dont have e spare bike key.

 

(Q)Does bike shop have a spare key with them when the bike still under Hire-Purchase??

 

Kindly advice fellow rider on this issue.

All bikes have at least 2 keys. Usually for installment the shop will keep the spare one. If they do not have means the previous owner lost it before he sell to shop. I believe you can ask for compensation based on that.

Hi All,

 

My bike (Ver S) broke down while I was riding to Mustaffa Center yesterday. I tried to start it but was unable to do so. It gave a whirrrrr-ing sound. Tried push starting it but still was not able to get it to start. There is Headlight, Neutral Light and signal lights.

 

Kindly advise...

its not the heart....its the brain:) the heart is the batt...while the wires are the vessel
