Actually I think all quite slow.. If you are the first off the line at traffic lights kinda rider den you prob shouldn't get a 2A cruiser.. Auto scooter are really off the line, I rode a Burgman 400 before and it's a really sweet ride with plenty of low end torque.. And it cruise pretty well too..

Most of the auto scooters are real fast off the line..... agree with Terrible One, the Burgman 400 is fast off the line. Had a couple of "incidents" with them before. But managed to beat them after i hit the 3rd

As for the Sonata Taxis, i think all the taxi drivers floor the damn thing man. They not only go fast off the line, i sometimes see them zoom past me at 80km/h.... i think its the way the drivers are driving.....

what bike you riding ?

I had a great PC800 - beautiful bike - and lots of storage space too.

The only problem was that I skidded once in a car park and and hit the front. it took the bike shop 6 months to bring in the fairing and they charged me a bomb for it...

gave up after that!

He's riding a Harley Dyna now, but I'm not sure if he's referring to his experiences with his ex rides...

Yes, a small and nimble 03' Dyna.... Most of the scooters are fast dude, even the smaller CC ones. They will most prob beat you off the lights in their first 2gears. I "played" with them on numorous occasions. Must clutch and kick up as fast as you can.... As for the Burgman 400... its fast. Heard that there is a 650cc version too.... Wow! Got to meet that on the road man.... sure would be a challenge....

Hi ylsonny

If you're asking about class 2A cruiser, I would say 400cc chain-driven is quick in picking up from the start line. (e.g. Shadow Slasher, Shadow ACE, Steed etc.) You will have the chance to play with the front and rear sprocket for ultimate pickup in this category.

ooo. thanks for the input

So which bike do you intend to get? Best is to try out other ppl's bike b4 committing. If you really want something quick off the line den I can say that all 2A cruisers are pretty slow. Maybe can opt for other type of bikes. Just my 2 cents.

PS, if you stay in the east can let you try my Steed.

Wooo Steed.. i think one of the meanest machine for Class 2A. Kinna rarely seen on road. But usually see on road also quite fast riders.

ermm..if you wanna get a fast bike to do some over taking, cruisers are probably not your cup of tea. Cruisers are meant to just cruise, regardless if it has power or not. Maybe a sports bike or a muscle bike or a street fighter/cafe racer kind would meet your requirement?

If you do end up getting a cruiser, you might not be happy with it in future. Just a thought.

Agreed. If you love to have quick acceleration from a stop, few bikes in the 400cc catagory would beat a supermotard/scrambler.

yes cruisers are meant to cruise but it never hurt to have extra boost of power in your hands when you need to get out of sticky situation....:D

Nope.... not really true for class 2. Some Muscle bike cruisers are BEAST! But for 2A hmmm... havent really seen one.

I rode a muscle cruiser before and i still love it after i changed it for so long.
