not sure whether this is the right place a not, yesterday at woodland road i went out of petrol a kind hearted drz 400 rider plate number fbb3*** by the name of edwin stop and drain some petrol to me and guide me to the petrol station at cck north there a very big THANK U to u. if possible let meet out 1 day and let me treat u to makan cheers

I understand the pain and agony of w/o petrol and struck in the middle nowhere (5am at TPE)... At why i u-turn back to help cos of my previous experiences.. Anyway , its only a small matter..

Here's another helpful DRZer who assisted to two downed riders on the 27th Feb 2008. This is his account...

 

was riding with my gf to go meet some friends when i had the unfortunate experience of witnessing an accident on the connector between KJE towards BKE(PIE). i guess you guys will know that connector with the long left hand corner.

 

was riding towards the connector from KJE at around 1145pm. these 2 CBR400 were in front of me one of them with pillion.. all 3 of them were guys. all of us were going about 100km/h.. approaching the corner i slowed while those 2 carried on at the same speed. so i already had a bad feeling. once in the corner i already couldnt see them, cuz it was a blind corner i guess.

 

halfway through i heard a loud crash and going along there it was i saw the 2 bikes sliding down along the road, i even saw the front wheel of one of the bikes tumbling into the barrier. damn jialat. e-brake to avoid the bikes but still hit a big piece of plastic fairing that was littered on the road. luckily i myself did not fall. wierd thing is, as i was riding past the wreckage i couldnt find the riders and pillion, they were not on the road..

 

pulled over on the shoulder further in front and asked my gf to call the ambulance and just stay at my bike. while i was jogging up to see the casualties i was already praying not to see any dead ppl. http://209.85.12.232/4656/105/emo/ohno.gif

 

apparently they were all thrown outwards onto the barrier while their bikes carried on sliding forward. went to the 1st guy, a malay dude, he was already moaning loudly in pain and complaining he couldnt move. told him to just stay still 1st. came to the other 2 guys, one was ok and the other one was just lying down with his eyes open facing up not moving. f**k!! luckily after a while he started moving a bit and moaning in pain also.

 

den another dude on a scram came by and stopped also. i told him to just keep an eye on them while i went up the road to warn oncoming traffic to slow down. f**king almost kena knocked down by this dumb mazda myself. http://209.85.12.232/4656/105/emo/fk.jpg got this uncle in a car also stopped to help. so here are some pics..

wierd thing is, the ambulance actually went the wrong way!! i actually saw it going along the connector between KJE towards BKE(Woodlands). then they called my gf back and asked her if it was the one going towards BKE(PIE)!! all in all they took at least 15 mins to arrive. http://209.85.12.232/4656/105/emo/doh.jpg

10 mins later a police K9 van happened to pass by and also stopped to help out!! can hear the dogs inside barking la! 10 mins after that then TP patrol car came. took a statement from me, i told them i was the 1st there cuz i was just behind them but did not actually see the collision. so they just took down my contact no. and told me i could go already.

I have to really give it up to this dude for having been there and quick thinking...my hat's off to this dude for also putting himself on the line to warn other vehicles.....lucky the mazda didnt hit him...

 

everybody shud b like him...look out for other rd users especially us riders...
