i just got the journey 40l for my incoming drz.

it comes with a universal baseplate.

 

can the baseplate be attached to this?

so far for the 2 racks above, i can only find 2 holes for screws which i can secure the baseplate to...

 

 

or shld i use the Hepco rack ? not sure whether there's a rack by Hepco for the DRz

He gave me the quote for the FMF powerbomb header, nw i am tempted to replace the Delta header with it, shld i ? or shld i not ?

saw Hepco box fitted on DRZ b4 ... nt so sure abt the rack thou ...

maybe u can try go Chiap Lee n ask ... they selling Hepco box ...

now i just deciding if the ebay rack or hepco rack is better

the reason why i considering both is that, the H&B shld be of a better fit, however without the box, the H&B rack would be useless whereas the ebay rack still can be use standalone.

There's a 450 big bore kit from lukesracing.com.

For the yoshimura 450 kit, it is bore+stroke to reach 450.

Max recommended size on just bore alone is 94mm which is 435cc. Enquire at Ideal b4, they have the Athena 440 kit(435cc). Installation plus kit is ard $1.2k.

 

To realise the potential of the big bore kit, you will need to change out the detuned cams and install a FCR and with a free flowing exhaust.
