DRC tail light should be in the $120 range.. i'm too sure abt it..

most of us get our DRC, Zeta parts online, which is much cheaper and less waiting time..

a cheaper alternative is LAB ones.. ard $20 IIRC..

just rem, dun drill your rear fender!! they costs $84!!

you might wanna change the signal lights too..

i've read that drc taillight can get at Ideal isit?..

Hi newbie here. I have some question regarding about scrambler

I never ride scrambler b4, so is it DRZ is common scrambler in class 2A? What is the market price for new scrambler?

I plan to buy a class 2A scrambler, but I am short (1.65m), will it affect of riding, is scrambler very easy to skid or hard to travel along between cars? I saw the bike is tall and always "wobble"? If not safe I wont buy.

Where is the common bike shop that do scrambler?

How is the maintenance like? except normal maintenance, do any other problem that need to take care of? compare other 2A, scrambler maintenance is ex and need frequently maintain?

I don't think there is Zeta tail light in the market. Maybe there is..

John can u pls confirm? If u wanna buy Zeta stuff locally, you can go to

Ideal Motor. If u wish to get it online, look for either biting_point or our

MO Master, ET.

your questions are leading to very very long answer..

i'll try to answer them..

DRZ is so far the most common 2A motard as of i know..

OTR price is at abt $13k.

Height is not a problem, you need to get use to it. it's a Motard, it's generally lower than a dirt scram..

skidding is common because of it's engine brake, that's actually the most fun part of DRZ..

wobbling experienced at high speed of >120kph. some DIY mods can improve handling at high speeds.

"Safe" bike?? very general qns, i cant answer it..

single cyclinders are pretty much easy to manage.. most shops can do a fairly well job, more famous ones are Ah Seng at Mayo, Speedzone, MagixMotors.

regular maintenance is crucial. but is generally cheaper compared to other 2A bikes like S4, RVF or maxi scooters. DRZ had a literally bullet proof engine..

if comparing to other 2A scrams, DRZ would be easiest IMO, as KTM are maintained by engine hour..

a big thank you and a session of teh ice is appreciated..!!

most of the qns had been answered by biting point.

there is koubalink to lower the suspension if u find the stock position too high. scrambler skid or not is depending on the skills and rd condition also, "wobble" due to the vibrations.

maintenance wise is easy, just take care of engine oil, spark plug every 15000km can liao, btw i using irridium plugs.

i fishtailed cialat due to the rain:(

i only experienced wobbling at NSHW at 130km/h n above.

maintenance is indeed cheaper:cheers:

IIRC, some KTMs had a engine hour clock. everytime engine is started, the clock will run.. each maintenance is at 100hr interval IIRC..

The stock brake pads (Nissin) are the best for your current OEM caliper setup.

But if you get the Brembo 4 pot 4 piston caliper... then the Ferodo XRAC1 race pads are the best.
