was quoted macine price of $11k for '08

$12k for '09

its brand new machine price only.

 

diff is $1k, so worth d diff to get the '09?

There's no diffrence between 08 and 09 besides the decal and the slightly different colour frame (08 is gunametal grey, 09 is gloss black).

 

I say take the 08 and save the 1k for future mods.

you buy cheaper you sell cheaper? couple that with the loan period, you'll be paying more than 1k unless you are paying full cash. Ppl are more concern with the milleage, condition of the bike anyway, so it wont make much of a difference if you ask me.

Chong Aik brought in Acerbis stuffs, if you are looking for Acerbis Tail lights, they are the ones..

 

Correct me if i'm wrong...is the acerbis tail light the clear colored ones??..

i see tat the common one on the rd...always wanted to ask the drz riders i see with this tail lights but never got the chance..

LAB selling cheap one at abt $20..

i suggest you get better one like DRC, direct fit without need to drill holes..

 

you might wanna change signal lights together too..

Go to Ah Seng of Mayo Street.

Tell him you want to put on handguards and the DRC Edge tail lights.. then keep quiet and let him do his magic.

 

His wiring work is one of the best I have seen a mechanic do... he does not use tape to join wires... he uses heat shrink.

 

I will be at his shop on Monday evening around 5 PM for some minor work on my bike.

Hehehe i will upload somemore pics soon.... The tri-oval like urs confirm can't bring it in anymore, even if japan hv stock..... So i got the new titanium oval one firespec version...

 

heard tt the new 1 is better in terms of performance n 'noise' level ... :sweat:

Performance its definetly better than the GPR i was using b4, the new Yoshi is shorter in length oso, at least ard 10cm shorter... Noise level need to meet up with u guys n then we compare ar....

I am trying, trying very very hard to resist... I am trying to change my braking system, but as a package it is almost $2k... So i am deciding whether to break up the purchase, Braking rotors front n rear 1st, then followed by master cyclinder n lastly calipers lar.... Hmmmmmmmmm..... My car aftermarket braking system oso ard the same price lei, tot bike stuff cheaper....
