As u people know that we will b having our Cubs Anniversary 2008/2009 by end of February 2009.. The anniversary will be having buffet as most of u have decided by polling system..

 

The main thing is, we (community members for the cubs anniversary) will need to know on the numbers of people interested in going for the anniversary..

I can understand how difficult it is to organize such a big event.

But at the same time u also need to provide as much info as possible to encourage more participants.

If u have very vague details, how can u expect me to confirm my attendence ?

bro sorry our bad dat we didnt incl the rough estimated timing. anyway for sure its going to be a dinner so as to cater for more of the forumers.

bro saying is easy, not dat we dont wan to provide more infos... but to get more infos we need to commit to them a estimated figure of attendance. from the current recent outings we organise, i dun even dare to commit anything.

 

Without a rough estimation of the attendance how can we plan anything? the buffet will be charged per head, and basically the more pax we have the more variety of food i can arrange.

Without a rough budget of spending there, the caterer also cant give me a menu. so how u expect us to give more infos?

Thus we posted a rough estimation of $20-$25 per pax. if we managed to get a decent number of attendance den we can choose the variety of food keeping it as low as possible. so i would say $25 is the max. nothing goes above this amount. of cos if we can get more attendance then there is sure to be savings and we can push the pricing lower!

heh heh... it is indeed a better idea to tune down the size of outings.

 

Instead of organising an anniversary (which like you said has sponsors and program involved), we should just stick to a normal outing gathering.
