haiz...my bike repaired alrdy....the starter motor flood with water...-.-...the mech cleared the water then use gum to seal it...hope it can prevent water going in again...changed my engine oil to mobil 4T Gold.. fully synt... kind of like wow! wad a difference compared to that mineral oil im using for running in...haha..but found out another thing that my volt meter is faulty...always at 16.2 wont change at all...the mech check the volt of batt then found that it was 13.5+-...and he dono how to repair...omg...how? i can confirm that new southern motor's mech dono abt aprilia... haiz wont go there liao next time...sianzz...but they sell bike real gd price!!! i recommend u all to buy there...not service..

i wanna get a full synt 2T...thinking of motul 800 or 710...or maybe castrol power 1 racing 2T? which is better? i using pump..not premix...advise? now using a semi synt shell 2T for running in...gotta change liao...

 

i wanna change my stock chain to O or X ring chain...is it a must to change the sprockets too? or can jus change the chain?

normal voltage on the move mine abt 14+...mine is the old aprilia replica..so far so good...btw go to first motor...heard their service is good...i uses esso gold..maybe u shud take it into consideration too...hmm btw where do u stay sorrie4u?

i stay at bukit batok st 11... esso gold is 2t or e.o? IS EO the same as gear oil??? cuz the manual say need to use 75w-90 gear oil...but today i changed that one to fully synt esso 4T gold...i saw the mech pour into the engine oil chamber...but i tot it is for 4stroke??? is that a problem? anyone using E.O esso 4T gold? 10w-40 onli...differ so much from the manufacterer recomendations...

2 stroke have to use Gear Oil only! Cannot use 4 stroke engine oil!! Your gear box cannot last long!

omg then how?!!!! but i saw him use a red colour bottle oil...there put 4T lei...not gear oil??? 4T is not gear oil oso? omg...how? but i feel like the power is there after i change the oil leh...alot of difference...omg...will spoil gear box? omg he said thats the best liao...wa liao...u confirm E.O for RS125 is not 4T oil? the bottle put esso 4T gold... 10w-40....omg advise pls!

Mine a 125... yup i intending to use billet radial Brembo caliper for dual disc setup reducing the disc to a 260mm (lesser rotational mass) :cheeky: Billet 4 pads caliper for best stiffness and rigidity and max modulation together with a Brembo radial 19x16 master cylinder :thumb:

is gear oil same as engine oil? wad oil u all use for rs125? omg...4T cannot be used as oil for the engine block? but the mech say its the best...onli 10w-40...help!!! if wrong i need to drain it out asap b4 anything happens...pls help mi kind ppl...the mech poured in esso 4T gold... omg...

gear oil for 2strokers as it lubricates the gears and uses 2t to lubricate the internals(piston/etc)

 

engine oil for 4strokers as it lubricate all the things unlike 2stroke uses 2 kind of oil.. gear & 2t oil. =)

 

2stroke can use engine oil.. to me it give better power and response compared to gear oil.. but it will damage your gears and wear them out faster.. cos the oil is lighter/thinner than gear oil. =)

huh karenesu then how? i using esso 4T gold ok anot? need to drain it out straight awy? i dun wan piston jam sia...still wan my life...:S.... any tips? wad should i do nw?

 

using 4T wont piston jammed lah.. piston is lub by 2T..

using 4T at gear box at max only some clutch slip , gear enagement not soo smooth etc.. can use lah , next month then change loh .. remenber to use gearoil next time lah...

Using wat brand is personal preference=> some like maxima , some like Rockoil GRO , some like Fuch ,

ok wow....thanks guys....now im really relieved alot alot...haben slp yet sia...keep worry abtmy bike...since last night tow to workshop...9pm till now...still cant slp...lol...1st worry abt starter motor then worry abt this oil thingy.... phew wad a relieve... at last i can slp well liao...thanks alot alot guys...

You're way too excited about all your problems..

 

I suggest get a grip on yourself 1st. Also, start bringing your bike to a reliable Mech. I would recommend to follow Kuransenu's suggestions.. My personal preference is First Motor.

Hi everyone, I have some RS125 Replica spare to let at good price.

 

1. Original front brake disk, 50~60% more life span. No warp, no crack and never crash before.

2. Original front brake pump. No bend.

3. Original front brake caliper with brake pad. paint work a bit damage at banjo area due to brake fliud over flow contact. Can be re-spray easily to any color you like.

4. Original front n rear wheel, very good condition, no scratch, no nick, and never crash before.

5. Original front fork, no crash, no bend, slighter still good. Together with custom make bracket that can use brembo non-radial 4 pots brake caliper.

sorry for the excitment dudes..lol too noob i guess... i reading alot in the forum but alot oso dun understand...those terms u guys use...sorry for that wil try to buck up

 

anyway any comments abt CASTROL Power1 Racing 2T? it claims to increase acceleration and is fully synt. which oni cost 14.50?? good or bad? why so cheap compare to maxima fuchs or other better brands? i tot castrol is a good brand too?

 

on the bottle say up to ratio of 1:50...im jus curious...my 2T pump is like pumping wad ratio ah? stock one 2005 version rs125... should adjust? and to how much is better? i dun track or race...jus ride normal with high revs not more than 10k rpm at 1st 4gears and less than 7k rpm at 5 and 6th gears...

 

and my 2T tank inside still have abt half tank of SHELL semi synt 2T VSX leh...should i drain out then pour the new fully synt 2T inside? or mix without a problem?

Hi guys..

 

Next year motomilia Malaysia will sponsor Aprilia 125 Cup.

 

The race will be for Aprilia RS125 only and no other bikes allowed.

 

Anyone here intrested to race in this cup..

 

If you do, I have a suggestions and the suggestions are :

 

1. Group the racer who want to race.

 

2. Get an expenses to commute to KLIA

 

3. Then every racers donate money for all the expenses..

 

Then you can enjoy your race here in SIC..

Do state what you would like to know.

 

Basically, if you are using it as a street bike I think a 4 stroke, to be honest, will be more rideable. Well of course a RS250 will have the unique factor.

However if you are looking to get into track or have a interest in 2 strokes, e RS250 will be for you.

As a racer, I also have the same thought like he do...

 

I have been using the 2stroke engine since 2002 and from what I have experienced is that, the 2stroke engine consume so much fuel and 2T. About the maintainance also high becoz of the parts price..

 

In conclusion, the 2stroke can't be use for daily use..

 

But if you thought of using it for a weekend ride then its ok or just for racing purpose..:sian:

 

Some more, this 250 2 stroke you cannot ride far away with peace..:cry: coz it might burden you at some place..:dot:

 

Therefore, for short distance ride its good but for a long journey ride, its might hurt you..:cheeky:
