hey guys, if my pickup is very fast and my high gear is very very weak(unless i drag my lower gears to 6 to 7 rpm), what should i do to the tuning? cause i just changed valve and the tuning seems to run.

sounds like you change gears toooo fast, but stil i know wat u mean .... nothing wrong with your tuning, u have to shift your gears appropriately bcus of the cdi restriction between 5-6k rpm. unless u had ur cdi de-restricted... if you still wants to pickup fast and ur high gear still very good, change your spockets, play the with the spockets ratio around.. no gurantee for higher top speed.

btw anyone riding aprilias here had their piston block change to a different cc before?? 149cc, 154cc, 199cc? ...

when i am riding my bike..

 

i will drag till 6-7 before i change to a higher gear...

 

i will maintain above 6-7rpm when cruising..

i thou is like u either have fast pick up, suffer at top speed, or suffer pick up, fast top speed? cannot have both things one..

more power = more wear rate.

 

if u r able to stand the wear rate, u can try the 154cc polini kit from Mah Pte Ltd.

 

pls note any mod on cc is not legal and on the polini kit also stated for "race use only" so don't expect any warranty . . .

Aiyah, try not to waste your money lah, there are better ways to make your bike more ridable.
