errr..what is WOT?

iits nothing to do with the size le...u juz gotta trust yer bike and believe in yourself...

matter of fact is.... its safer to be on the gas then off it... when on the gas,yer rear shocks are compressed n yer rear tyre are digging into the tarmac and u have traction, the front may feel light but its not an issue as long as u are guilding her thru the bends n not commanding (meaning gripping the handles tight and trying to steer her) her thru it

Wide Open Throttle, baby, yeah. :D

i might be planning to start a package for turning a stock RS125 into a more useable road/track friendly machine.

my bike will be use as an example..geniune and keen owners will get to test ride my bike and feel the difference.

I tested her on the track 5 times since i got my bike a month ago n made improvement along the way,.. reliability is definately not an issue (as she been thru under some heavy abuse for 4 weeks) unless thru the owners negligence..

the package will come with the Arrows exhaust and big carbs along with the other list of mods.

I'll be looking forward to this. Not sure if I can wait much longer for the Arrow though. Will be looking to get that done by end of Jan.

How about a personified RS125 track lesson someday as well? I'm sure quite a few newbies like myself would love to get some hands-on track guidance, and would be happy to pay for it as well. :cheeky:

oh ok.. mine is TTAS (throttle to a stop) :p

I think theres no stock for Arrows now..gotta order it

there will be a private track day somewhere between march/april solely for Aprilia,Triumph n Husqvarna owners

I dont think i qualified to be instructor but I cant give some FREE (yes u dont need to pay :D) track tips.

basic track riding I dont mind posting here, dos and donts etc etc(if u guys wanna read it here)

2 stroke track riding...till i get a 1m55s in PG if not im still on the learning curve

Priller07: the shop's in malaysia. didnt read the name properly as was with a friend who frequents him for top end servicing. just another qustion. Popping a wheelie on an rs125 stock verison is possible?

Ah Seng from 37 Motoring is a Malaysian who does the aprilia quite well. U might wanna visit him. Someone here posted the directions on how to get to his workshop at Kaki Bukit a few pages back. Might wanna try sending ur bike there for tuning if u're not sure how to diy. And what Personified said was true though. This bike meant for track use. I popped and caused my front fork to leak on my old '05 RS. Luckily the 'carrot shop' took it in without noticing the bike true condition. Well, if u wanna pop wheelies and stuff might as well get a DRZ or KTM. Wouldn't wanna damage those costly parts on ur beautiful bike. :)

Any peeps using the broquet drop-in-tank fuel charger in your aprilia?

some bros have already stated here...yr stockie pipes gotta go...

in fact i might be planning to start a package for turning a stock RS125 into a more useable road/track friendly machine.

On the road ,its a breeze to ride..

On the track, im still trying to get top end power (she's currently max out at 164km)

im still working out on the sums..stay tuned

Interested.

When the winds resist my impetus and sights become passing shadows. Every other sound is voided, all but the undeniable roar of my engine.

My physical vision recepts naught, but my mind is tranquil.

I see my inner soul.

Posted
Interested.

it wont be so quick as i be away for a month..am working out on some package

e.g.

1) arrows/std carbs/jetting & tuning

2) arrows/big carbs (muz premix)/jetting & tuning

3) arrows/big carbs/jetting & tuning/gear ratio & some mods which Im not allow to state here. (this will be same as what i done to my bike)

4) all of the above but with a 150cc big bore kit,Racing CDI... (this is what im aiming for if i cant get my expected top end but i really wanna stay on a 125 block and achieve my top end expectation.the 125 block are revvy, which suits my kind of riding, the 150cc have top end but its not as quick to rev as a 125 block..)

if fact i actually have a video recording my test in PG ,its 21 mins long and I cant seem to upload it anywhere..

the vdo only focused on my rev meter n part of the track

been reading previous post again and realised that lacrimosae mentioned that his bike does bout 30+km /litre. Mine does 16km/l and 18 km on good days. Is there something majorly wrong with my bike? and is there anything i can do to increase that magical number/litre? Also, is it just me or does the stock 09` horns sound ****ing aqua`ish? imo the horn sounds like a baby's fart now. was thinking of getting horns that makes an inconsiderate rider jump out of his fckking seat. Heard that hellatone horns from mustafa at $55 is good. however, will it pass the inspections?

Rusted inside.. Spray WD40 generously into the keyhole and try

am not too sure bout your question and im quite noob myself. however, from my understanding you`re unable to get the fuel cap open. i had that problem too. try pressing the fuel cap down as you turn the key. just my lousy 2 cents worth:D

I spent over 300 hours tuning my bike. I tweaked it everyday, experimented with different idle, needle, and main jet sizing in different combinations. I also did plug chops, destroying over 50 plugs just to get to the right state of tune.

As for horns, you'll need the Hella Supertone! Disc horns are proven better than snail horns. Higher penetrative power over traffic and vehicular noise insulation.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

damn, is there an way to get my bike somewhere near your kinda tuning?am totally new to riding and thus doing plug job and adjusting jet sizing is a little too outta my league now.

would love to get the horns done up but i have no idea how to get it wired up. was reading some manuals and reliased i need to get a relay or something. the manual's unclear so was hoping if anyone around with the expertise is keen on doing up a horn too, maybe i can go look see look see and learn some stuff.

that would be me. lol. but you might wana check out the shipping they charge u. Coz my company deals with DHL and we mainly use their express service only. A simple 5kg package will set u back at least $100 excl taxes. But items will reach u in 3 working days ah and comes with all first class DHL service such as pick up from the location, tracking services and doorstep delivery within the stipulated time.

lawrence, u used the Colortune before rite? wana ask u sth. When i plug mine in, it seems that the bike is unable to idle well. Did u experience this when u were using urs? im just wondering if this is normal. And the weird thing is, no matter how much i turn the a/f screw im unable to get the bunsen blue flame. its always orange. ive tried turning it all the way in and also all the way out but makes no difference. starting to wonder if my colortune is faulty.
