Its not that i dont want it. its just that im still on the 12 point system for both my car and bike license. plus. i dont take the bike to neighbouring countries nor the tracks around and thus i firgured a bike that managed to hit 120 effortlessly is good enough for sg roads.

i actually did call them prior to this, however the guy said it depends as he needed to see where i wanted to install the horn and the differnt types of wirings/relay needed. he ask me to take the bike down for him to analyze before he can quote. therefore was hoping to find out here if anyone has done it before. As for the DIY. ive read the basics to doing the servicing, hwever, was hoping that i could do it around people who actually knows the exact stuff that needs to be done in case i actually screw up.

haha! everyone keeps saying that. but what difference is it? like better top end better pick up? and the draw backs? im definately gonna get my exhaust done up. once ive saved up enough. still feeling fine with the stock one for now. just that i tried the ginelli pipes on my friends bike and it was hellava shiok sounding. hahahaa.

did u try ur friends bike or not? im assuming u didnt reali manage to pull to higher rpms. coz once get the feeling of an aftermarket pipe, u wont be "feeling fine with the stock one" anymore. lol.

Oh, strange for a biker to not know about his own bike... That's like not knowing your girlfriend's bra size

then bro, u will be very surprised how many riders nowadays dun noe the "sizes of their girlfriends bra" nowadays. to them as long as from outside look big and feel nice to touch good enuf alr. dun haf to know exact size =D

Ok u guys free this Sunday 30 Jan at 1300hrs? I'll do a carb cleaning and gear oil change.

Address is Blk 21 Joo Seng Road.

Sorry, I really do need to weed out those who are really interested and those who are not. Do drop by and I'll try to answer all your queries to my best knowledge. I can't promise you I know everything. I can only share with you what I know. What I can promise you is that I will be honest. And what I don't know, I won't pretend to know, unlike most mechs. You'll have to find out for yourself on issues I don't have the answer to.

You mean this video?

Yeah, now that's what I call GOOD TUNING.

Valve stays clean and never jams even if we neglect it for almost a year. Of course, in the vid, this was 3 weeks after the last servicing. Still, some bikes get their valves jammed after only a week....

And this is the aftermarket CNC-machined very soft aluminium valve that many seem to have problems with breakage on. This valve has been in use for over a year! Still going strong without damage. Please don't blame the valve for premature death.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Gotta clear my 30th schedule! Will be there, a list of items would be appreciated. Would love a seasoned hand feeling up my bike, see if it's running well.

Nic you interested? We'll ride down together.

Anyone going down to get the brushes do inform me. I'll be getting aerosol products to rub my rainstains away(do recommend)

What's gt85? Chain lube?

My bike's fairing hasn't been repaired from my skid accident, please don't judge me :')

Exhaust loud = too much 2T, exhaust muffler packing saturated with oil and doesn't muffle the noise.

Engine loud = just a simple case of "oh-sh1t-you're-f*cked" conrod or conrod bearings are damaged.

omg im hoping its not the conrod but i cant help but think it is... thanks lawrence, scheisse man..

If your rs125 cannot hit 140 effortlessly you might want to consider the scrapyard! Really should try out the bike first.

Juz change a pair of brand new sprockets. Change the size of the front sprockets to size 16 instead of our original 17. I can feel my pickup increase. Shiockness!

Those getting powervalves and cables from PJME, please note that they are not genuine parts, even though the photos look like they are.

I have spoken to Angela and Luke of PJME personally about this issue. They have confirmed that they are not genuine.

Just FYI. Make sure you go into a deal with your eyes wide open. If you need confirmation, please call PJME directly.

If you need valves I've got aftermarket valves from Germany that is replicated with the same materials as our original Rotax. I am currently testing it before I sell it to ensure it is as strong as the original.

The previous valve I sold received a lot of complaints that it was too soft and malleable, even though I didnt have problems with them myself, using 2 on both my bikes.

The new valves are off the bat much stronger and tougher to scratch, even with a screwdriver. They weigh the same as the original ones too.

And do check on clutch springs if you are ordering them. They sent me the wrong model, and I still haven't received the right ones yet, after half a year.

Thats the basics of mod, playing with spockets is best n cheapest form of mods.. Decreasing 1 tooth from front is almost like increasing 2.5 teeth at the rear..normally increasing bigger spockets at the rear is preferred due to lesser work. Having smaller front or bigger rear will def increae in acceleration but a sacrifice in top end speed..it's great for traffic lights shoot out but not great for FC..

On the track, it van be deceiving, because of the quick response in acceleration, it gives us the sense of swiftness but u might find u actually going slower when u record yr lap times.. u will find yer revs climb to redline too quickly..Too many gear changes leads to time wasting, gearing for every race circuit needs to be tried out to see which ratio is ideal.. PG favours higher ratio gearing but it will never work for Sepang which has fast high speed sweeping bends..I have yet to sort out my gear ratio for PG on my RS.. Am playing with spockets now to get my gearing right...I having a 16/40 but it still not right, need to blip the clutch almost every corner especially those uphill ones..

My 2cts worth on spockets for street n track riding

cheers y'all
