Fine, thanks. Just that life here can be abit lonely at times.

Am having thoughts of getting a 125 or 250 for track purposes when I am done with my assignment.

Can't help it coz I fell in love with the RS125 at PG. Hmmmm... mebbe Spiderman might be kind enough to let me try his 250 on the track one of these days.

Sir,

Get the rs250.. the 125 wont satisfy your needs i believe... I think the rs250 is quite a popular track bike in the States too..

Dear Fairlady,

This is DARKLADY>> BLACK LADY!! haha..

Anyway, jokes aside.. I think you misunderstood jazzyme.. She is a dear friend of mine and she wrote that in my friendster testimonial refering to the recent flame war with the mito_sell idiot who was selling Wan's bike. i dunno if you read that thread.

Why should you think it's being refered to you or anyone else here? Yes, there are some idiots and faggots who go around clocking posts in this thread.. but you i can say for sure are not one of them..

So pls sis, dont be offended alright..

Jaz, chill out girl.. nothing to get worked up over.. We are all friends here ok.. Except for 1 or 2 faggots and fatties.. lol.. But that's another story..

peace out! no cat fight!

RS125 is good. IMHO, its very good for training up in track riding. Due to the lack of gut, you'll be forced to maintain a very strict regime of very precise riding while maintaining within the powerband; and gear slection into/ in the corner. Minimal braking, perpetual full throttling, riding the powerband, minimal braking and maximum corner speeds are simply orgasmic. Anyway, pretty sure you must've known all these as you've been there on an RS125...

In fact, I've just gotten myself an RS125. A nearly TEN year-old RS125... Old and slow la.. Full stock at the moment. Hoping to get it prepped up soon (yes spider, I know you're snigerring at this.. Damn. When I get the TIME.. haha) and hopefully, have the masters here bring me to PG for a round or two. And of course, show me the ropes of riding an RS125 in a track.

Newbie here. Cheers.

Newbie here. Cheers.

You hit the nail on the head.

When I was riding the RS125 at PG.. I was telling myself that it was a very good bike for beginners to learn track riding. I like the size of the bike coz it is not that small and I dont look like an elephant trying to ride a mynah bird.

The other plus point is that the bike handles superbly in the corners and feels just like my CBR which has so many adjustments for spring loading, damping and rebound whereas this bike has got no adjustments at all other than stiffening the rear shock spring.

And you are right again.... I was trying to brake as little as possible, all the while trying to keep the speed and rpm high in the corners coz if you screw up and lose speed on one corner you screw up on the rest... especially Turns 3, 4 and 5 and also Turns 6,7,8, 9 and 10, all which are a series of corners.

There was a 5 Lap Race at PG which I spent the entire time trying to catch up with Alanhim... closing up on him and only to see him pull away on the longer straights.

I only managed to overtake him at BMW simply becoz an S4 went in too hot and forced him out of line and he had to brake and luckily for me it was the last lap too or else he would kill me again on the back straight.

It was very obvious that my friend's stock standard RS125 was slightly underpowered when compared to Alan's bike.
