Would like to check with other SW owner whether they install front and back cameras on their SW. Whether they have any recommendation?

Just buy from carousell and go to boss chong @AC Motors to arrange for installation. I have mine installed by him nicely.

Hi, I'm the seller of the FJS400D ... yes, its me... painfully decided to let it find a new owner :pity:

Bike is superbly maintained for my own safety "if-n-when" I am able to find time to ride... previously was like once a week, then became once a month, now hardly got time due to family commitments; originally intended to keep as hobby bike but my baby needed more time from me.

Bike model: FJS400D ... not PI bike but no diff by now

Original Registration: 25 Jan 2008

COE till: 10 years means 24 Jan 2018 ... 11 months to go

COE renewable? Yes

Road Tax: Valid till 24 Jul 2017

Colour: Metallic Silver (original paintwork bodykit, not respray)

Bike Condition: Very well maintained

. Stock parts used except K&N air filter, Lithium battery

. Headlight protector cover (you can't find this in the market anymore)

. RAM mount for phone/GPS at left handlebar (2 balls) and center steering cover (1 ball)

. LED light strip in under-seat storage compartment

. Givi Maxia E52 with working LED brake lights

. Givi original Maxia metal baseplate (not the plastic one)

. Enhanced seats for extra comfort

. IU inside right glove compartment

. There's a scratch at front wheel fender cover (caused by other bikers rear no. plate), can put sticker over it

Recently changed at K&T (run less than 90 km)

. Both tyres (Diablo Scoot)

. Steering cone

. Front fork oil & seal

. Front brake disc & pads

. Service front brake assembly (change pistons/ring/oil)

. Left brake pump kit

. Brake oil

. Front wheel bearings

. Rear wheel special bearings

. 3-in-1 transmission set

. Change engine & final transmission oil (Maxima full synthetic)

. Engine coolant (Engine Ice)

. Service rear clutch assembly

. Service K&N air filter

. OSRAM night breaker bulbs (low & high beams)

So you see, this bike is in superb condition, most (if not all) wear-n-tear items already changed for safety.

Regular Workshop: mostly K&T Assessory (Ubi), AC Motor (Kaki Bukit)

... you may wanna continue servicing at these shops for continuity

Price? $4.8K for quick deal.

Buyer pays transfer and admin fees (if any).

Please Whatsapp/SMS me to discuss.

Will consider all sincere offers but gotta be better than what motortiam has already offered me.

Front should be 29psi or 200kpa only mah.

At this pressure, the feelings at your palm would be just nice as it would cushion the roughness of the road.

Could it be the fork too soft instead?

Check for leaks (oil or air) because the fork would compress too easily.

Otherwise, change to a 15W fork oil (not higher).

whats a good tire pressure again

i pump 36 psi for front , but still seem soft .

update , repump to SW9000 kind instruction, turn out from the petrol station , suddenly bad wobble,

the bad tire gone,

went back in the petrol station tried to pump , then saw the nail stickin like a sore thumb.

Wait for a while. COE still very high.

Bike shops predict it will lasts half a year until Mah Motor finished up all their 200+ old COE and the market will stabilises.

haiz... now bike left 1 year ,

should i forgo and renew now ??

With high ARF hopefully the COE price would come down a bit. Maybe more worth it to renew COE.

Depending on how much time you have left, waiting for COE prices to drop may not work out for everyone. For renewal of COE, owner pays a Prevailing Quota Premium (PQP). It's the average of the COE for past 3 months. I managed to renew the COE for my SW at $6.3k mid March.

Bear in mind that the average of 3 months means the high COE prices of the last month has to fall away from the calculation for the PQP when you renew. That would be at least four months away and it's assuming COE prices do not continue to climb. If time is on your side, you can wait it out but otherwise, it's perhaps more prudent to bite the bullet.

I think i ready to share my new SW riding experience bought Feb this year 2017. Coming from 10 years of riding a S4 with a dual compound tyres, i am not use to not having the good grip that kind of tyres offer.

Boon Siew SW stock tyre is Bridgestone Hoop B03 front and B02 rear. When i first skip a bit during wet weather riding on road marking, I thought to myself **** must be IRC tyres.

A couple weeks after, i put the SW on stand to examine the tyre to find that its actually Bridgestone. So i check the manufacturing date the last 4 digit of the DOT marking its indicated that XX16 which meant its made 2016 so the tyre is not old.

So i dive into tyre knowledge reading, I found out that i been spoil by the dual compound tyre installed into my S4 since forever. Tyre such as Bridgestone Hoop are cruiser tyre single component design for longevity. Also the run in period is also longer, about 1500km onwards. Which i find its true currently i have run it for 1700 km. The grip while not great compare to dual compound tyre is still there.

I still would want a dual compound sport touring tyres for my next tyres swap.

Just want to set the record straight don't want to anyhow blame IRC.

Hi Fellow SW Bro,

May i ask if anyone have installed Lithium Battery on their bike? Care to share your experience?

Few points which i'm looking at:

1) High Depth of Discharge (DOD) of Lithium battery?

The supplier recommended HJTZ14S-FP Lithium I0n Battery in replacement for SW stock AGM battery YTZ12S.

As i understand that the lithium battery discharge at higher amp as compared to the stock one.

Does it burn-out the electronics parts?

Does it mean higher rpm to recharge the lithium battery as well?

2) Battery re-charging time / rpm (eg. 4,000 ~ 4,500 rpm)?

Shorter charging time for Lithium battery as compared to AGM battery?

Supplier claim that lithium battery can charged to 90% in 6 mins.

3) What is your experience on the lithium battery lifespan? no. of years?

Does the battery died-out without symptoms?

4) Any shop recommendation for cheaper lithium battery?

I am riding SW T400, and my daily rides is usually short city rides, and it seem that the AGM / Gel Type battery may not charge fast enough during these short trip, thus occasionally need to take the bike out for long ride.

Link for Skyrich Lithium battery:

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

I got mine previously from Cypher, in this SBF.

Now I guess he moved to his facebook, go search Lifepower Lithium.

I think Skyrich type should be similar.

Used for 4.5 years and sold with the bike.

Now new bike also using lithium.

Very fast charging.

No issue starting bike after 1 month no touch.

Thanks Bro SW9000 for sharing!

Btw, if anyone have similar encounter on this as well:

Recently my SW experiencing loud noise from the rear wheel / pipe area.

It sounded like "hollow pipe noise" and "sandpaper brushing noise"..

It happened very irregular basis, but usually can hear the noise when moving off low speed stop or moving off from slope.

Brought to bike shop then no sound . Mechanic also dont know how to fix.

All advice are appreciated. Thanks!
